I don't think the items listed were clones or anything, guess you can always check with those authenticity stickers, it might even be easier to determine this from gb than ft, as ft apparently use middle distribution so the actual manufacturer doesnt know that ft had bought the authentics from them and alot of the time removed the actual serial so it can't be traced back to that distributor. Usually in the past with evod clones there had been some differences with the product and packaging too, same with vivi novas. Also a fair few clone tanks I went for didn't always have the full packaging. Its possible to have the same packaging as the authentic though, in fact some nautilus ones in the past looked identical, could have even been factory seconds or something. I think gb didn't understand what fakes meant or something as it seems really strange to just cancel straight away lol One thing is if you re order from china its good to split the order up or it could attract extra charges and if 1 item is out of stock it can hold up the whole order. Alot of the time the clones of anything like batteries, tanks are made slightly differently, like theres ways to spot the fake vtc's apparently. Even cloned kayfuns n drippers have some differences unless you get a high quality one that costs more.

It's also possible that GearBest have dropshipper accounts with manufacturers. Customer orders from GearBest........GearBest pass the order onto someone and it's picked and delivered by a third party(who have then cocked it up) It will all come out in the wash and get sorted by isabel22

Well thats a bit of a shocker !! After reading about beedee getting a fake product I sent a ticket to Gearbest asking them if any of the items I'd ordered we're fakes (everything i'd ordered said it was original or authentic) & if they we're then I'd prefer not to have them & have a refund. So they've just replied to me: Dear customer, Thank you very much for contacting us. We have cancelled your order and will process your refund immediately. You will receive the refund in your account balance in approximately 3-5 days, the precise time depends on the payment provider. In the meantime if we can be of any further assitance to you, please feel free to to contact us at your earliest possible convenience.we are always happy to help our valued customers. Thank you very for your continued support and understanding. Best Regards Vita GearBest Customer Service www.gearbest.com/Thankyou for the refund Gearbest (already showing in my PP account).....Wont be bothering with them again ! markus , would mind give me your order code or N.ticket ? thank you !

It's a weird situation sometimes. I ordered a few joyetech products from 3fvape that came without any authenticity, box, serials or otherwise. Joyetech do not sell products in this form (according to their customer service) but 3fvape assured me they were genuine but forgot to put the card in (card...okaaay). So even if a seller guarantees authenticity, it's still not reassuring enough sometimes. I'm still stuck as to what to do in this situation because it's difficult to prove otherwise.

That's because 3fvape is an authorised seller of Joyetech/Eleaf products but they're not authorised to sell them to the UK market because of rrp differences internationally. 3fvape have removed any traceable identification such as box serials etc so there's no way it can be sent back to Joyetech under warrantee and they notice that the item was sent from the UK but bought in China from 3fvape, because then they would lose their authorised dealer status.

Also with regards to "fakes" it is common practice for manufacturers to sub contract work out to other companies to make "genuine" products. I have received goods which whilst they were not described as genuine definitely were (Kanger Sub Tank springs to mind) yet arrived with no retail packaging or anything to show that they were authentic. With regards to the OP I think that the language barrier has been the main culprit here. When communicating with the Chinese I fine the best thing is to keep it simple, definitely do not use slang words and check your spelling. Stick to your guns and they will generally come good in the end, although it may take some time and be frustrating on occasions. My 2p's worth.

The best way to communicate with chinese vendors is to put your words into google translate.
Translate to chinese.......then back to english.
If it makes no sense when you've done that..........reword it till it does.
That's all most of them do with your messages.
Just because Isabel's english is good.......... doesn't mean everyone that works for GearBest is as good.
And....... 记得要有礼貌
