Help needed , DNA 40 chip/screen needs replacing

Anyone able to replace a DNA 40 chip for me , beyond my capabilities I'm afraid & trying to avoid having to send the mod back to the states for repair , not sure what's involved the chip is fine but the screen is broken , if there is anyone able to help please pm me

I'm sure I heard that there is a shortage of screens due to a fire at the manufacturers.

You can't, well I can't get the large screen screens ATM, small screens are still available and complete boards with large screens from StealthVape, but it could be months before they are available again if you don't get one ASAP. I have too much on my plate ATM to take it on, but would happly do it in about a month. greendollar are you sure it is just the screen and is it a large or small screen and what mod?

Small screen I believe , cracked it replacing the faceplate unfortunately but it was working as far as I could tell until the screen completely packed up

Well small screens are still available at SV, might need to take the board out on that unless you can get at it with the faceplate off. I did a short guide on soldering them if you are nay good with a soldering iron.

I can't even put the faceplate back on without breaking something VB but windows has kindly offered to take a look

Anatolian in Turkish Walnut ...traded a Caravela for it & the Damascus faceplate makes it a bit special
