Hi all, wondering if you can help. I'm trying to build the Lemo for MTL vaping but am running into some difficulties. Initially i tried to build it like the kayfun with a 2mm coil and cotton, when i tightened the airflow to my liking it would be ok for a pull or two and then gurgling with an almost air lock type experience.
I then tried running it with a 3mm coil to allow for more cotton, but it takes forever to heat up at the moment I am running it at 12w on a 1.8 ohm coil.
Is there anything else I can do to get a smoother vape, the flavour is there its just the gurgling and coil heat up time that is the problem.
I know one of the obvious answers would be to loosen the air hole, but that would defeat me trying to use it as a MTL tank
Thanks for listerning:)

sounds like your wick isnt forming a dam against the juice, try training the wick into the top of the juice channels slightly, just a mm or so. but i prefer a wide open draw, with a tighter draw perhaps more wick in the juice channel may be needed as your suck will reduce the pressure in the vape chamber more than it would with a wide open vape and consequently suck more juice into the chamber past the wick dam?? sounds like you need to balance the wick resistance against the juice to match the tighter draw you prefer? just guessing i dont use a lemo(1)

I had similar MTL issues with a lemo drop. I found best results with a 1 to 1.2 ohm coil at 2.5mm with the coil running diagonally across the deck/air hole keeping legs to a minimum then trailing the wicks down across the deck Kfun style covering but not jammed into the inlet chanels..

With the lemo I prefer and have always had great success with feeding wick I to coil then pulling cotton down either side. I then cut th wick roughly flush with where it needs to sit. Then hold cotton up and screw the chamber on the wick will now be out the top of the metal chamber.
Then I push it all down with a little metal rod or bit of wire. Juice it up and then I use a bit of wire to feed down the side into holes to ensure channels are not blocked.
IF you prefer visuals I do it just like this skip to 8 mins exactly
