right got a couple of those ce4plus thingys and theyre falling apart. 1 the drip tip bit feel aprt into 2 pieces and the other the threading wasnt stuck to the drip.
obviously whacking any kinda glue on there could react bad with the plastic but more importantly with eliquid.
but while dismantling an old 510 atty i notice the glue holding that together was green.
anyone now what type of glue is safe to use on cartos?
i dry burnt the ce4s and theres nothing wrong with em apart from that.
also is there any kind of poly carbonate filler type stuuf?

There are a variety of plastic welds but many of them are not food safe..
Gordy posted about a food safe one a few days ago

i used the sawn off condom too... i wasnt happy about using glue that i had no idea about ..if you did go for some then i would choose one that is food safe and non toxic just to edge on the side of caution ...the ones i mentioned in that thread were weld type products that actually melt the plastic and enable them to bond together rather than using a cement type bonding agent

i dont think a condom can fit a ce4+ thou A piece of clear cello tape wound tight seems to be doing the job on one of my badly cracked ones which had started to sweat. I am pretty sure the juice and the adhesive on the tape don't mix or I would be seeing smears on the inside of the tape. A condom will work. 100%. The newer ones with the little cone washer at the top are even more harder to take apart..They seem to have stuck the bottom compression collar to the polycarb container down with some kind of super glue.

You're right, there's definitely something used to stick it down on these V2s ,probably put there to stop people re-wicking them so that they have to splash out and buy another. I found the best way of getting them apart is to heat it up in hot water first so that everything expands a bit and the plastic becomes a little more pliable.
