how robust are you..

we have it set to automatic all year, lucky we got one of those Honeywell units that has the winter /summer switch so it either gives us hot water or heating and hot water depending on the thermostat as required, strangely enough it came on for the first time since February last night for about 30 minutes, I blame the kids for leaving the door open ...

strangely enough the corner I normally occupy in the lounge sits around 20 degrees all year long, in the summer it has a fan to cool it down and in the winter It gets turned off, the pc does the rest of the job

I'm happy without heating on but swmbo feels the cold so has to put it on, I hate getting to hot lol

we switch it on when it's cold - if it's cold in July, we will switch it on in July - and we switch it off when we feel too warm - we don't check the calendar

well I weakened this evening and put the gas fire on for half an hour after getting in this evening.. the main heating will be on next week tho (mumble grumble) a Pal from Ibiza is popping over for a wee visit, so no doubt it will be too cold even with the heating on full blast!!

Don't know how to answer.

It's 'on' all the time but only kicks in when it's cold enough. I thought that was how everybody had it, more or less.

It seems to be off nearly all the time until about now....
