This happened about fortnight ago anyways. ...
Went in to a shop I had been frequenting for maybe 5 months now. Probably spent a few hundred on various things. Never had an issue nice people. They were doing well so upgraded locations. Visited their new premises and bought a juice. Went for a coffee and realised I'd purchased the wrong juice. Went back to go an exchange. The first going they did was examine juice and accuse me of watering it down. Basically said I must have removed some of the juice and tipped it back up with something. Obviously being accused of this angered me as I was a regular and never had any previous issues. After they said this I looked at bottle and would agree for a high vg juice it was noticeably thin. This means that the juice was defective. So it's quite possible the vendor actually watered it down. If they had said look we don't allow exchanges on juices fair enough but to actually accuse me of this over a £5 juice. Needless to say thy lost me as a customer and I sent the bottle of to the maker so they can analyse it and find out what the vendor did to it.
Just felt the need to vent somewhere abut this

was the bottle not sealed when you purchased it The bottle didn't have a tamper proof seal. When I spoke with the maker they said they had just started to use them. The juice maker is zues juice. Fairly well known so I'm confident it wasn't just a faulty batch or something random

£5 for a bottle is cheap hahaha Was a 10ml bottle. But I try to support smaller shops when I can. But Yeh £5 isn't much which is why I was so surprised how much of an issue they made to a regular customer

I would never pay £5 for a 10 ml bottle, what a rip off for 20-50p worth of ingredients. I would have hated being accused and would not go back peroid, but if they are not sealed bottles (their fault) they should not put them back into stock so changing it comes down to if you asked for or picked up the wrong liquid or they gave you the wrong liquid.

Regular customer or not it's a daft policy to start accusing customers of things or make them unhappy with the service. Of course there will be the odd chancer trying to con the store but those people are going to be few and far between, when you make it routine to quibble and insult customers though you will fast develop a reputation for bad service. When people experience poor customer service they tend to tell others about their experience so it doesn't take long for word to spread and for people to start avoiding your business.

peter12I cannot fault the vendor! You can't take back an unsealed bottle. To them you may well be a crank! Jim

jevans that's what I said in my op. That I'd they said they don't accept returns, then fair enough. What infuriated me was the accusations.it wasn't that they said I could have tampered so they have a policy. They actually said I had tampered with the juice VapingBad I got what I asked for. I asked for a juice called medusa and got it. My mind must have been elsewhere because what I wanted was hydra. I asked why the juice I was buying wasn't blue (hydra is) they said medusa has never been blue (which is true) I must have been having slow day.
