Ready to take the next step (but not ready to make my own!)

Hello friends. Apparently since I gave up the stinkies, I've saved over £5,000! That's pretty damn cool and I've literally never craved one either.

I've been vaping since February 2014 and been perfectly happy with my two iTaste variable voltage variable wattage batteries and the basic clearomisers. Then I happened to pop into an awesome vape shop in Bath and they sold me a lovely JW7 clearomiser which made me realise how rough the vaping had been up until this point. I've totally maxed out on Joose Juice and am a loyal customer there but now.... disaster........! My iTastes have both died - weird battery error messages, no charging and definitely no vaping. So because I'm ever so slightly dependent on my vaping, I had to buy tonight a starter kit (vivid vapours) and it's ok. If you're just starting out, then it's a hell of a lot better than garage e-cigs but, I'm definitely now into vaping maturity and could do with some help from the good people here.

1. I'm not bothered by a massive vape cloud
2. I'm a born-again vanilla addict and I love the Joose Juice
3. I need performance and stamina
4. Nothing too massive please

Any suggestions for a new kit?

iStick 30W and a Nautilus Mini

Thanks smifee but it looks a bit big in the hand! I'm kind of wedded to the smaller, easy to hold, discretely in the hand-bag kind of size!

It isn't that big





or the Kangerbox nano - but that might be too big

Actually they are nice looking. It's just that the battery is bigger than I imagined! What other benefits do they have?

i would suggest the evic mini is worth a look at for circa £25 (fasttech/gearbest etc..) feature rich and is a pleasure to vape with
you will need battery/batteries on top tho.

the airflow can be restricted to pretty tight, as well as wide open.. diy or stock coil heads too.

 actually they are full of benefits - I have the pink one   - you can use any atty - subohm or not  and they charge fairly quickly with the usb

The larger battery enables much longer between charges wolfvape, and should you ever wish to experiment with lower resistance coils, you have the potential for this too. They really are very small, and both my wife and daughter use them quite comfortably, and they both have small hands!
The iStick range are excellent value for the money, and will take all types of tanks with plenty of power for anything you might wish to put on it.
Perhaps see if you can find one to hold in your hand, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
There's also the Coolfire 4 - I have one of these put by for my wife for Christmas; they fit wonderfully into the hand, and are really quite petite too!

The advantages are that you will get the stamina you need, a replaceable battery, great flavour (you don't have to sub-ohm it).

There are some other thinner mods around that might be closer to the taste dimensions - I will tag Pepperty as I think she had some smaller kit

I use 30w isticks pretty much exclusively these days wolfvape and my must have all day vape is Joose Juice soft mint - I do have a subtank mini and a subtank nano but use those at home rather than taking them out and about in my handbag. I prefer a Protank V2 or Areotank for work and going out and about, I find them very forgiving when I lay them flat on the passenger seat of my car when I'm driving no leaks and the mods being square and flat don't roll off and end up out of reach or in the footwell They aren't as big as you'd think - I carry 2 with me at all times in a nice little mini handbag pouchy thing tucked inside my larger handbag. The tanks hold 3.5ml's of juice each so having 2 with different flavours is enough to see me through most working days or trips out and the battery life is about 24 hours give or take. Coils are cheap as chips and these days are available wicked with organic cotton - though I make my own with muji which is even cheaper but I've got some of the SOCC stock coils as spares and they vape quite well. Be warned though isticks tend to breed ...... I have 6 so far and there miiiiiight be a couple more on their way from China

If compact is a consideration have you looked at an joyetech egrip cl use one of these as my walk around mod for months now plus if you get the clr heads they are very easy to re-wick.

They don't have the 30W but the 20W is the same size & weight. DO NOT buy the 20W:- it's faults were put right in the 30W.

My experience with the iStick 40W is that despite having a higher capacity battery the battery life is worse than the 30W.

Of course you could, if you agree that an external battery is required, look at the Cloupor mini - it's teeny and with your vaping style will certainly not look "out of place, or unsightly". Just buy a couple of good quality 18650 batteries, a charger, and it will last you all day. I also think the Aspire Nautilus mini would make a good addition. If you're set on an internal battery then I'd agree that the 30W iStick would be a good choice.

Am a complete newbie myself having only given up yesterday but, in my opinion, the iStick 30w and Nautilus Mini are an excellent combination. The 30w has excellent battery life (I have used it for the equivalent of 10 cigarettes since yesterday which is about 40-50 separate vapes and the battery indicator is still showing full). The only downside I can see is the relative small capacity of the Nautilus at 2 ml...fine if you are at home most of the time but could be an issue if you are out a lot and vape a lot.
