Just one more thing npower my electricity supplier charges me 17p per kwh , my istick takes 2.5 hours to charge.
i will leave that one for another post lol.

Less than a penny I think, USB (5 V) at 1 A = 5 W, times 2.5 hours = 12.5 Wh = 0.0125 kWh, times 17p = 0.2125p

 of course - I thought my guess was a bit high .......... worked it out in my head in a hurry while someone was talking to me and was trying to factor in that it would not be 1 amp for the whole charge cycle and ......... worked it out on mains voltage rather than 5V DC
