Oh that wasn't my dog but my Aunts in Huddersfield.

That pic was taken in 1949 when I was 3 years old.

My Aunt had run the community pig sty during the war and she still had 2 pigs in a sty in the back garden.

Being "a city kid" I was highly amused that people would keep pigs in their back gardens.

I was used to back gardens being for the washhouse and the middens.

While I loved cuddling her dog, I kept well clear of the pigs!!!
