very stupid/daft cotton Q

So looking at doing my own coils after much help from you good people i have that sorted 
But the cotton is my errr big problem i can't touch the bloody stuff (well if its like the cotton balls you can buy)
yes i know i'm a freak but i just can't handle it. Think fingernails on blackboard for some it does them in well I'm the same
with dry cotton   now if its wet then its fine so ......... 
could i wet the cotton too wick the coils then just let it dry out then refluff the cotton with tweezers.

@broadblaster - have you handled rayon fibre? It works as well (some say better) than cotton, and is easy to work with. This might be a suitable alternative?

Muji cotton comes in flat pads so that may help

what are you planing on using tank wise lots of alternatives to cotton.

it will only be on a kanger subtank mini.

Depending on which RBA you got it might work out ok with the wet cotton.
Give it a go see how it goes, no harm in trying.

i think thats what i may do i just had a read up on rayon it could (well does) work but still unsure of the way its made TBH.
I could just wear laytex gloves but i have enough trouble with big fat fingers as it is without them on aswell.

Yep, I know what you mean about rayon, its a bit of a leap from trees to cushion stuffing init lol.
its fairly cheap order a bit and see if its any better for ya.

yeah i may have too it seems there is quite a few diffrent types so it just finding the right stuff online ATM.

Is this a phobia or an allergy @broadblaster If it is a phobia then rayon will feel much the same, if it's an allergy then it should be no problem.

its a phobia of sorts i just hate the feel of it very very stupid and daft i know a man of my age freaked out by cotton wool.
I just tried to have a play with the stuff that comes with the mini subtank and no way can i touch that stuff

I thank you very much for the offer seeing as you don't know me it really shows the kind of people on this site.
But i have found a place that sells it in small packs for 70 odd pence, seeing as i also have to order some other 
bits from them next week i will buy a small amount for a play.As i would feel so bad not using it if i had taken yours
from you.
