Just wanted to say hi all and ask a bit of advice lol. I gave up smoking in Feb using a ego ce4 and within a couple of months I'd moved onto a vaporiz fuse clearomizer, and for the past four months I have been using a atom viper sub tank. My main reason for using theese was to give up however I really enjoyed vaping so have been moving up them however now I wanted to start on mods etc but don't have the first clue about it I know there's a lot to learn but I'm willing lol. So yea hi all ☺

Hello & welcome conan87 I'd recommend an iStick & something like an aerotank to go with it.

Hi conan87, and welcome to the forum. Well done on kicking the fags into touch, and for sticking with the vaping. There is such a choice of mods out there, it may help us if you could tell us a bit more about your circumstances to help us to help you. What is your budget? Do you want a built-in battery or the option to remove and swop over batteries? Do you vape "mouth-to-lung" (like smoking a cigarette) or DLI "Direct Lung Inhale"? This will have a bearing on the type of tank you will put on top, and also what power requirements you will need. Do you want to experiment with Temperature Control using Nickel coils, or are you happy to stick with a stock coil? What ratio of PG and VG do you use in your juice at present? This will also have relevance to the type of tank you use. Sorry about the Spanish Inquisition, but some answers to these questions will narrow down the options and make it easier for us to point you in the right direction. Just a footnote: Vaporiz are very expensive, and we can show you how to buy all the kit they sell (and the genuine article, not 'clone' copies) for much less dosh. Please check with us before ordering, as there may be other vendors with much lower prices out there that you may not be aware of

Greetings and to AAEC conan87As chykensa says above, please do ask on here if you are considering the next move upwards, but a little advice from me would be set an initial budget and stick with it. It is just too easy to get carried away with new stuff you may never use or need.

conan87You have come to the right place for advice, these guys have forgotten more than I will ever learn about vaping. They are only too happy to provide help and experience and are generally just all round nice people. I joined for similar reasons, I got the vape bug and wanted to know more about it, one piece of advice from me would be budget. Know what you want to spend and stick to it. There are so many new devices out there which might not be right for you but look shiny and nice, it is better to wait for the price to drop or try a pre-loved version before you commit. I am now building a sizeable collection of kit but I see it as a hobby and like the idea of lots of stuff, it can take over if you aren't careful. Look in the classified section here, there are many members who like to trade/sell kit they aren't using. You can get honest advice before you commit. That way you can decide which style of vaping you want to develop. Well done for kicking the cancer sticks into touch, best move I ever made.

Welcome conan87You have done the right thing, young barbarian. There's loads of superb kit out there these days but sadly the buying public never gets to find out, as the 'nasty' brands like to steal the action. For me, I'd always recommend an iStick as a good introduction to small box mods. The 30w would be a good one. If you want to get into bigger clouds and away from mouth-to-lung inhaling, then a subtank is a good next move.

from me as well conan87 chykensa has given good advice guessing by your kit you mouth to lung inhale (as I do) If you buy a mod without an internal battery you will need decent batteries and charger, for safety reasons you can't skimp on these and they will add at least another £20 to your purchase. Hence a lot of folk on here will recommend the eleaf I stick 30 watt (avoid the 20 watt version it has dodgy atomiser threads) Myepack are a well regarded vendor with good prices myepack.co.uk/mods.htmlHope this helps

Hi conan87 and a warm and hearty AAE-C to the forum that has it all. Advice by the bucketload, help by the hamperload and support that's second to none. Follow the advice you've been given already and you won't go wrong.
