wheezing

ive been vaping for about 2 years ive noticed recently that im wheezing a lot as anybody else had this problem ?

when you say wheezing, do you mean you are suffering from shortness of breath or that you whistle on breathing out?> if its wheezing that tends to be asthmatic symptom or an allergy

ive never suffered from asthma , its not shortness of breath , its more of a liquidy crackle if that makes any sense

Book an appointment with your GP.

It could be pneumonia or pulmonary edema, or the onset of man-flu. It might be just a bit of a cold.

You will not be wasting your GPs time, get it checked out. If at any time you feel short of breath or notice a blue-ish tinge to your lips or complexion, stuff the GP, go straight to A&E or call an ambulance.

I'm willing to lay a pound to a pinch of poo that this has cack all to do with vaping stevemfc .

You haven`t recently started blowing clouds have you? That kind of thing happened to me when I tried it for a couple of days before I came to my senses

this, along with high VG mixes, would have been my guess... I get a bit phlegmy (eeurrghh, looks worse when written down ) if I drop below 70% PG...

I get wheezy when I turn it up.

It's taken me 3 years to get from 8 to about 15 watts.

Could just be the weather, or change or liquid, or the stars aligning in a bad way.

I hope you fix it.

Mild illness like chest infection? These come with a lot of wheezing. It's the right season for an illness like this.

High VG juice, and lots of vapour as you would produce when sub-ohming, does tend to produce a lot of, err, umm, mucus in the mouth and throat. If you have not changed your juice or vaping habits recently, do the sensible thing and pay your GP a visit. Can't be too careful . . .

Now I am strange (you knew that though didn't you?) - I get chesty on too much PG. I went to the GP the other year with a bad chest - he wasn't happy - then got home and adjusted my ratios and I was fine

So yeah - GP or play with your mix - but maybe GP first?

I would try the mix for a few days, if no better then get to the gp

Drink plenty of water. Maybe dilute your VG with 10% distilled/purified water. VG used to lay heavy on my chest and gave me similar symptoms you are talking about. But, since using 10% distilled water added to my VG, those symptoms went away. First things first, though. Get yourself to the doctor just to be sure.

thanks for all the response think ill put it down to trying new juice and trying cloud chasing but will keep my eye open and if it gets worse will go to the docs

How much water are you drinking? VG dehydrates you so make sure you're drinking more water than normal if you're sub ohming high VG juices. I drink 3-4 litres a day. I do get a bit chesty and throaty if I don't.

I've been having this since I started vaping a year ago, sounds a bit like a cat inside my chest, not really loud but very noticeable, I vape RA and manabush

I barely notice anymore but when next to our lass in bed she mentions it everytime, also got a pretty random but bad cough
