Kayfun "loose" coil post

I've given my Kayfun the ultrasonic treatment and after I've put a new coil in, it's showing "no atomiser".

I've noticed that the post above the insulator is a little loose... pressing the centre pin allows it to rise on the deck. if I tighten the screw in the centre pin it seems to remove the looseness, but then the pin is too recessed to make contact with the mod... I've tried on a couple of mods and the same problem.

Is there another way to tighten the desk without using the centre pin?

nah center pin holds the deck in im afraid.

Do you have a small oring that you could put under the insulator

I have O-rings aplenty.... I'll give that a go, ta

Buy a new insulator that fits in the base that the 510 screw/pin goes though. They tend to deform and end up pushed in to the base over time, especially if you remove the screw a lot or tighten the screw too much trying to fix the block tight on the deck. That will restore the height difference so the screw head sticks out a bit and will give you connection without shorting. They are cheap so I wouldn't even bother with a O ring which will deform anyway.

The insulator under the block on the deck also suffers over time from being squashed. You get both in a set from Creme de Vape for £5.
