I'm guessing they used to hit that guy in the head a lot. Gave up after a minute of listening to his nonsense, his mummy (during those rare sober moments) must be so proud.

Looked on the website linky provided by Bobsbeer and the control ring goes up to 500degC!!!! I assume 600, if the 'F' setting is max. I think some sweatshop slave got his degC and degF mixed up a tad.

I don't doubt his knowledge @zuza, but re done without the expletives in every other word would, in my very sheltered view, produce an informative piece of journalism that others would like to watch. I think in my time I have heard most of them, probably used most of them, but there comes a time and place for such fouled mouthed language. To me it gives an indication to his level of intelligence if he can't think of other more appropriate words to use instead. Amoeba comes to mind along with slimy pond. Or maybe it's an Australian thing. Or is that the same thing.

I think these days theres so many reviewers on youtube that if any want to start they need to differentiate themselves and thats just one way theyre doing it, also like rip trippers and indoor smokers puts on a show too. It did take a bit of getting used to when I first watched the Vaping Bogan though. Also it seems in this video he was stressed out about the tank a bit more so may have come across differently to his other reviews

I think it's quiete clever in a way. If I were to say. I watched a review with that nice Scottish fella, you'd assume you knew who I meant. That hairy American guy that gos on forever with every technical detail, you know who.. The chap that does the short hd slide shows on the forum... Your seeing the pattern.

So we have the foul mouthed Aussie. Normally I don't bother much with video reviews but he's got people talking so I clicked. That's another view on his video then and the manufacturers like that.

i just have zero patience for 'personality' when wanting information, why watch a X min video when 1/2 a page of text can inform quicker and clearer.  Vids have a place for subjective information and viewpoints, facial expression can convey a lot of information in the correct context.

I recently helped a pal out with a bit of part exchange mechanics on his bmw, he turned up with ipad and utube loaded, and it was a nightmare a greasy paged haynes manual would have sorted us out in no time. we spent half the time huddled under the bonnet as it was the only place the tablet was visible...

I wonder if Sweary Pat is related to my mate John The C**t, we call him that because that's every second word that comes out of his mouth.
Can't judge a book by the cover though he's a top bloke, when i got married he couldn't make it so he just stuck an envelope through the door with £300 in it and a note saying sorry couldn't make it have a mucky weekend away on me ya c**ts.
She's long since been binned but John is still about.

Each to their own, but I can't do with the bad language in reviews myself.

No need for it whatsoever and it doesn't do anything for the product. I had to delete a couple of reviews off our site in the past (that had been put up by the staff) because of the language.

Nothing worse than starting to listen to a review with children in the room and hearing a load of bad language (I did a lot of work from home and object to the fact that I have to exclude everyone one else in the house)

I personally think it actually makes the reviewer sound very amateur and the only way they can get any traffic is via the language.
