Aloha Heading down to Shenzhen for me inter-semester Spring Break (at least 10 degrees warmer than Xianning) - and have an FB friend at Anyvape ( Anyvape LJ) whose trying to organise a trip around the factory and facilities for me. Also got interest in an article from Spinfuel Ezine - so thought i'd ask the UK vapers if they have any questions or points they'd want me to ask or things to look at/for when i'm going around? Not sure when the visit will be exactly - i'm in Shenzhen from the 16th of January until the 15thof February - so not sure when the article would go in Spinfuel. Going to see who else in Shenzhen might be up for a visit and article whilst i'm down there - though it's also the month that China shuts LoL So if anyone has contacts that they could introduce me to in Shenzhen that would be greatly appreciated

Wouldn't mind knowing if they have plans for a dedicated rebuildable tank rather than an addon head for a clearo.

One of the things i'm thinking about @droog - the Furytank has been my favourite subohm tank to date - until it died - but the RBA section was a PITA compared to the KST mini (for me at least). Maybe the new FT2 RBA will be updated but i doubt it.

Make sure you spend a day at the Tea Garden (a Chinese Theme Park). I was there in 2009 and had a great day walking around

My FB friends in Shenzhen have been wanting to go to an amusement park and ride the rollercoasters - if that's the Tea Garden - for a while, but it's too expensive for them - so in exchange for an ickle tour of Shenzhen, i've said i'd treat them to a day ticket - expensive for them but £20 each is a cheap guided tour for me

yep, that's the place.... even has it's own golf course! Huge place, and the view from the cable car is great. It was mid summer when I went and fortunately they had plenty of refreshment kiosks... but 5RMB for 500ml water bottles kept me hydrated. Must have got through 5l on the day!

I suspect they won't tell you much but any insights into their attitude to dealing with the EU's TPD requirements and that their current products will probably be refused authorisation would be interesting. Will they just ignore the TPD and switch to direct/internet sales direct into Europe's 'grey market' potentially attracting negative attention from our respective government authorities? Regardless of all that serious stuff, have a great time!

Aloha ceedee - was planning on asking about the new EU regulations and what their plans might be. China is trying to turn itself into a more consumer based economy - in which case the EU market is pretty small as they reckon 40-50% of men smoke in China. Having said that, i've only seen westerners vape Interestingly the Shenzhen Ecig Expo from the 14th to 16th of April (which i'm hoping to get to) - when i'd expect the Chinese manufacturers to have an EU plan in place to either counter the TPD or circumvent it

So not many questions - aside from the TPD stuff. What kind of product would you (realistically) like to see? What improvements could be made to existing products to make them 'better', more user friendly, or 'manageable'? e.g. the spit back blocker top on the Aqua Fx - great idea that works really well Someone mentioned a dedicated RBA tank - instead of the 'hybrid' OCC/RBA that they currently make? This is an opportunity for Vapers to give feedback, make suggestions and, despite the EU restrictions, advise a manufacturer on what Vapers actually want - so go for it!
