Hi all, somethings been on my mind but not sure how to articulate it lol
Which mods or chipsets provide the smoothest vape? I am still in the process of changing my istick 50's for removal battery mods but remembered that the quality of the cake can be affected by the mods output.
The best vape I get is on my Dani mod which I believe outputs a DC signal. I'm not sure what the istick output and then I got totally lost when people staying talking about DNA 30/40 mods.
So please help educate an old tech dinosaur, would a DNA 30/40 output a signal for the smoothest vape? I assume PMW is on the not so smooth end of the scale but obviously does the job and what the hell is a Yihi chip...and does anyone have a clue of what I'm on about?
It's not about high watts for me, any suggestions within a budget price range?

My smoothest mods without doubt are my DNA 30 and 40 much smoother than my isticks and cloupor mini 30w, however my cloupor mini 50w is just as smooth and they're about £23 on Fasttech. Someone will be along soon to explain why Mrsmac .

MrsmacDon't forget that the quality of whatever your using on top will effect the quality of vape as well. You can have the smoothest power delivery in the world and still not achieve your vaping nirvana.

Very true charon but I'm afraid I'm an old stick in the mud and only use kayfuns for the last 18 months or so with 1.4ish coils which is why I don't really need too high watts

my fave chip is the sx350 but tend to be in high end mods or self builds. for off the shelf id go with the dna 40 as it steps down. I wasnt a fan of the VT40 when it came out but since picking 1 up Id highly recommend them as a quality mod, i really love mine now.

Seems like the dna 40 is a favorite then. So is it the chip that makes it better than say the istick?

Ive got a vaporshark dna30 and an hcigar vt40 both very nice the vt 40 is a bit big for out and about for me so I tend to take the cloupor out with me, the evic mini is supposed to be a very good mod and quite cheap I believe.

Seems like the dna 40 is a favorite then. So is it the chip that makes it better than say the istick? The DNA boards provide the smoothest power outside of the provape boards but they will cost you. The evic mini VT has a very very good board and is a very reasonable price at the moment. It is a great little mod. If you want something with more battery life then the Joyetech cuboid - twin 18650 has pretty much the same board and twice the battery life. A bit hefty weight wise though

Seems like the dna 40 is a favorite then. So is it the chip that makes it better than say the istick? tbh i think thats why i still use my little gizmo ,no chips to get in the way regulated mods are a bit like amplifiers ,the more you spend the better they are supposively (the chips) you do as always get diminishing returns after a point ie a £200 mod isnt normally twice as good as a £100 one, this is getting more so with the cheaper mods from china that do a cracking job smoothness of the vape can come from how you set the atty up as well(coil height) i dont own a vt mini but a mate at work do and its a nice small mod with REGULARLY UPDATED SOFTWARE for now and is cheap as chips for what it is,wich is why idd recommend it for a carefree out and about mod is it as good as the dna 40 prob not,but the thing is could you tell because there may not be aas much of a diff as some would have you believe(last year it was night and day) sorry if ive stepped on anyone,s toes but thats just my opinion
