Only downside with the tfv4 (apart from the fact it drinks juice like there's no tomorrow) is that the flavour is very muted. IMO it's the most flavourless of all the subohm tanks. My personal recommendation would be the Uwell Crown, It's a good balance between clouds and flavour.
Cheers for that, seems popularity is swaying towards the Crown at the moment.

I'll echo what drunkenbum has said, my main issue was poor flavour from the original tfv4 but the mini, for whatever reason, for me is completely different and has excellent flavour. I did have this issue as well with the sub tank and sub tank mini but can offer no explanation why.

Thought it was just me but I do get a much better flavour from the Mini even with the same coils.

the crown wins hands down on flavor and is my number 1 tank. bought a spare as well.
the new rafaele imo is no where near as good as the crown. its way too airy and flavor is muted. the highest ive got with the crown was 55wats while the rafaele ive had upto 100watts now and its still no better on flavor.

I also have both the Crown and Tfv4, the crown wins on flavour, but the Tfv4 only starts to come to life at around 60w plus, I find the flavour quite muted on the Triple coil, with slight improvement with the quad coil ( used at 80w)
I normally Vape at around 36-40w on the Crown in comparison.

I also have both but I much prefer the crown. The build quality, top fill and silicone used on the TfV4 is pants imo The top fill silicone grommet thingy on the TFV4 deforms horribly with some juices

.5 coils on the crown at 45w for me is spot on. Build quality of the crown is solid. Lots of cloudage and flavour so you can't go wrong

Sounds good to me, great price as well. Just had a look on UK Ecig Store £28.98 with a pack of 4 .5 coils. Can't go wrong really.
Cheers the help.

Yeah I didn't even have to rinse mines out. (either of them) They came really clean. I had a subtank mini before I had my crown. The coils would be lucky to last me a few days and were variable in quality which is something kanger has always struggled with in my opinion. It now sits in the back of the drawer. You really need to prime the crown coils though. I usually prime from the top and when liquid starts leaking out the side I know it's ready. I let it sit in the tank for 15mins to be safe and it's good to go. Max VG eliquids no problem. Never had a dry hit.

I must admit I've noticed the quality is a bit up and down with my Kanger coils, I also get about 1 in 8 that doesnt work at all. Hence the change really.
I'll get on and order my Crown then.
Thank you for all the information its been a massive help.
