No dark art to the process Toddy . . . . although some patience is required if you like Custard ( especially ) and Dessert Flavours . . . . ' One Shots ' which are essentially pre-blended flavours are a great way to get started. We are fortunate enough to have a number of Vendors with excellent ranges now for us to buy. There's several pinned threads on this Board which give you information on the basics, this being one: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/51720/mixing-guide-first-time-mixers?page=1After that, ask as many questions as you like.

That's great thank you. I'll check it out. The patience but is where I might struggle. I've seen some recipes and there was 4 to 6 weeks of waiting. I can be a little impatient..... I made my own wine once and it never made it into actual bottles

I made my own wine once and it never made it into actual bottles . . . . . now that I do understand! The simple solution with DIY eliquid is to mix some recipes or pre-blends that don't require much or little steeping time, so you've those to be going on with while the Custards ( as it's those mainly ) steep away. Then you get to enjoy some handiwork almost immediately - which is good for the interest and confidence. Once you get into a routine/cycle of mixing the recipes that do take time, it's not noticeable as you can always have something well steeped to use.
