As the title says the chimney section is stuck fast!! I had a friend who got it appart last time but as soon as I put it together again it is stuck and I can't shift it. I really like the vape I get from this but it looks like bin time unless anyone on here has a fix for this.

Unfortunately theres no real solution to stop this as its virtualy imposible not to screw the tank section on tighter while faffing with the juice control thing. You could try some lip balm or vaseline on the seal/threads may prevent the dry lock of the O ring.
I found the best way to get it apart is jam a allen key or screw driver in the air hole and the pointy bits of a suitable pair of long nose pliers in the juice holes of the chimney section.

Not got one but obviously you have to hold one section whilst unscrewing tother, and tools will help

I have a Kayfun v4 still in its wrapper and box. The instructions alone made me blanch at the complexity, and no guarantee that I would like the vape now as a sub-ohmer DTL-er. Might have to sell it on at some point (it's only a clone, of course!), so sorry I can't help your chimney problems quincey43

Well I managed to get it apart eventually!! mind you it will probably stick again next time I try to take it apart, I really like the vape it gives but it is such a bugger with all the faffing about it might well get put aside and only used in an emergancy, thats if I can get into it again! I dont know why they made it so complicated when the Kayfun Light Plus is so easy.

Yes I've had two of these with the steam tuners no spring upgrade and the wide bore chimney. Great vape imo but the thread lock thing. Gawd it drove me absolutely nuts. Like above I used to put an allen key in the holes or a small screwdriver but bent loads of them. I hear people use vape bands to grip on atty's as well. I sold my two in the end as they screwed my head up big time

You could try sticking the V4 tank on a regular base. You need to file/sand about a 1mm off regular Kfun chamber though I had a couple from FT that where short enough to begin with. You can then bottom fill without the need for a kayfill tool or screwdriver.

My K4 is genuine and although the bottom has stuck once or twice a quick turn with a mini screwdriver in one of the air holes has always Loosened it off without too much effort. It's still my daily atomiser. quincey43 - is your K4 a genuine product?

It's an Ephpro Nano Kit, I will stick with it for now but might have to give up if it carries on, only so much frustration I can take!

Always ensure the juice control is wide OPEN (ON) before parting the tank from the base, if closed it will jam solid

Not one to be beaten, I tried again this morning and it's gone as smooth as silk!! I did change the bottom connection screw as I had a spare and tightened it up well but made sure I could still move the juice control and I don't know if that had any bearing on it but it's working a treat with no leaks. The only problem is I used a juice I am not so keen on in case it leaked again, didn't want to lose my good stuff, ah well we shall see!
