only budget TC squonker im aware of is the vapour flask clone jobbie from the usual chinese bulk vendors. i dont think it was well received with poor wiring issues?? tho i could be shooting wide. with a @windows job as above you can be sure of quality parts and back up in the unlikely event of a problem.. i have a couple of vw squonk mods i would recommend, 1) geyscano 50w, nice vape, works well, very square corners. and 2) Sbody sca-3 nicer rounder hand feel, odd position for the fire button but it works well enough for me i fire with my thumb knuckle with my grip The sca-3 is a much weightier mod too with a steel body.. both in the mid ish to low range circa 40 usd and both come with reasonable attys too. www.angelcigs.com/authentic-s-body-bottom-feeder-s-ca3-50w-18650-variable-wattage-vw-box-mod-sliver.htmlthink these are clones?? got mine from angelcigs above but its no longer listed.. www.eciggity.com/geyscano-50-watt-box-mod-squonk-by-yiloong/

Steam Crave Squonk is the pick of the < £60 bunch by a long way IMO, but not without it's issues mainly battery life. Geyscano 2nd, but the S-Body I wouldn't give house room (form factor, cheap & FUGLY, not sure how well it functions), but if you want one I was talking to somebody tonight who has one and does not use it and would probably sell cheap.

Bought this Steam Crave bundle after reading this thread. Cost £50 and a few pence, arrived in less than 10 days, and cannot fault the build quality. Does chew through batteries quickly, as most reviewers have pointed out, but I don't view it as a major problem.

Yes that is the one I would recommend, it is a bit on the heavy side coming in at 304.6g with juice, battery and Steam Crave Atty on top, and as VapingBad says batteries don't last too well and don't forget if you get one to use the KUNGHEI Code for 20% off (until 05:00 tomorrow) or 15% from then until the 14th when the CNY ends

With the sca, the board is open and exposed. I killed mine with juice leakage. Wouldn't recommend. Geyscano or steam crave is much better. Is geyscano TC?

I believe it is, but looks quite big, and too square, the nice thing about the Steam Crave is, it's ease of getting at the bottle to fill it. never killed my SCAs (I had all 3 versions) but didn't like them one bit, the only other cheapy good one is the Kangxin Inoy, but that again has sharp edges on a square box.
