Just tried this build and what a difference it makes when using the RBA, i always felt it was inferior to the stock coils, but using the above tutorial brings the RBa to life, no leakage, and fantastic flavour.

am still not 100% on this still not open the crown tank i have and am waiting on the second one to turn up


dont know of i am thinking to much into this but have i got a mod that can work with the crown vtc mini and a kbox mini one 75w and one 60w dont know of it will be much good on the kbox at 60 w or am i going a bit a miss on this one lol

I don't see an issue, i have 2 or 3 on the go at any one time at anywhere between 28-40w, the vape is exactly what i want from the equipment. Yes you can ramp up the power if required, i just don't need anymore than the above.

Now using the Tfv4 tank is a different kettle of fish, and i regularly vape at around 80w on that as again this is the sweet spot for me.

I'm assuming you're running 1.2 coils at approx 10-12W?

How long is your battery lasting?

On any of my dual battery mods I run my Crown at 0.15ohm at between 45-90W. Batteries last me about 12 hours.

The juice? Well all I'll say is I'm glad I DIY.

What are you thoughts on the Crown thus far? You seemed rather dubious.

The crown i like the idea of top fill as well and primeing the coils is fine no dry / burnt hits but eats juice like water and power on a single batt is to short life span will see when my new batts gets here and my RX200 and re post then but so far well not to good hmm so i may be selling my second tank

hi i dont recall what i used now but i would like to know this for my first RBA build whats the best wire to get for this tank i am going to send for the RBA and want some tipe on best stuff to use for fist time build thanks

for VW vaping i think the consensus is Kanthal A1, for TC vaping it depends on what your mod is programmed for, NI200 is the default TC Wire, but most will also use Ti Too and some SS, the Dna200 mods can have custom wire profiles built and there are a few more options for folks using those mods..

for VW/VV vaping with kanthal a1 a 0.5 ohm single coil 7-8 wraps round a 2.5-3mm diameter mandral with o.4mm wire should be about right off the top of my head but steam engine www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp is a tool to help you design your coils, its fairly intuitive..

btw im answering as much for my own benefit, so if im shooting wide i will be corrected


EDIT  when it comes to coils i cheat and by them in bags/pots of 50 x from FT for a quid or so it seems silly not to and it makes recoiling an atty a simple replace job.. and when it comes to dual coil builds you can be confident 2x coils from the same bag will be equally resistant

OMG there is a lot of Pre-Coiled Wires on FT hmm now what ones do i get lol :/ most look like Nichrome dont see any SS or Ti but others are kanthal also what O what cotton to get so much to pick from hmm

well I bought a crown last night along and just fired it up for the first time and so far it seems nice, got it the half ohm coil with some 70% kreeds kustard mix in on the RX200 at 40w, think I must be doing something wrong though as its drinking almost as fast as the tfv4.... ordered the RBA head as well but that wont be here till next week some time still hopefully putting the cthula in its box she wont notice the new tank what with both being shiny silver coloured and top fill units
