Hi I have made up 50ml of Afro Dizziac but unfortunatly in rushing put the same amount of nic as flavouring, 7.5ml instead of 3.5ml!
if I make up another 50ml batch without nic and add them both together will this be ok?
Can anyone tell me what the nic content would be? Was aiming for 5mg

You'll be just slightly over your 5mg if you make the other 50ml and mix together firewall I take it your using 72mg nic base?

I think you need 57.14 ml of zero nice to make it the same strength (7% nic liquid).

firewallYou've made 54ml of 10mg/ml e-liquid You need to make up another 54ml of flavoured zero nic: i.e. add the following to what you've already got: pg 16.5ml vg 30 ml flav 7.5 ml Which will give you a total of 108ml of 5mg/ml e-liquid

List all the other ingredients you added and their volumes you used. Now multiply each by 1.143 and add together with your original mix and you will have the correct ratios you were aiming for. 10.26 ml pg 34.2 ml vg 8.55 flavourings. 54ml Afro Diz gone wrong!
job done. Double check my figures so you understand how I calculated. 1.14 is 4 (the additional nic you added) divided by 3.5(what you wanted). This gives you the ratio to use if you were mixing with 4ml of nic, which of course is now part of your original mix.

DAve (PMS), ok we differ -- I bow to your better judgement ---- where have i gone wrong?
EDIT -- nah! I still think I am right to preserve the pg/vg ratios an flavour strength.

DAve (PMS), ok we differ -- I bow to your better judgement ---- where have i gone wrong? Simple answer: my PG/VG ratio will be a bit out...! (I haven't had a chance to check your calcs. but I'd assume that you are probably more correct than me!) I have suggested creating a 5mg/ml version of what he has already made. You probably have allowed for the fact that by adding initially a bit more nic that it will have slightly upset the planned PG/VG ratio (and flavour).

VapingBad is that 7mg Nic? Looking for 5 or less if possible. (trying to cut down long term) It was just proportions of whatever you used before going by the OP, because you wanted 7% (3.5 ml in 50 ml) and used 7.5 ml and to dilute that it would be exactly 57.14 ml of zero nic + 50 ml = 107.14, to double check 7% of 107.14 ml is 7.5 ml making it exactly the same strength you intended.

VapingBad thank you for the excellent explanation I had rounded up my nic from 3.47 to 3.5 to make it easier to measure. Had not honestly realised how very little nic is required, that's only 0.03 difference in 50ml to increase by 2mg! Not including variations in reading levels. I will have to change the way I measure I think
