and the usual contradictions. Started off the device exploded then further down he bought some crappy batteries and was carrying them in his pocket as spares. Crap like this really pisses me off.

And lets not forget;

Smokers materials (e.g. cigarettes, cigars or pipe tobacco)
Caused the largest share of deaths in accidental dwelling fires (37%)

These accidents do just not seem to merit the publicity relatively minor vaping related accidents do. In fact by reducing smoking levels vaping is also reducing accidents.
