They do seem to be nimh, but much lower mah than I have been buying, wonder if that's done for a reason, maybe to help ensure fuller charge/discharge cycles, what do you think? If it's a Panasonic phone I have a similar one here I use for my business line and they are Panasonic Brand 550mAh part number HHR-55AAAB. They are a sorta light orange it says they are NiMh. Available here: compare.ebay.co.uk/like/270867019232?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=yIt looks like my binatone :/ Although it does seem they are all low mah, nimh rechargeables, so gonna try some of those ones, cheers mate... Anyway, back on topic, what did happen to the VV mod Mark?

nice mods. how much mark or are they all spoken for? Little ones are £12 (paypal fees & delivery included) the large one haven't set a price yet - that one i did to test everything out - but the switch on it alone was just over £5 to buy which would set it around the £28-£29 mark - the normal switches are cheaper than that and can even get the ones with square bezel fairly cheap - this one though is for me to test and i like the glowy switch so that's what i put in hehe No batteries are included with the mods as people have their own places to get them from

Good job Mark......but what about the voltage display? surely he doesnt need voltage display if they are constant 3.7 volt Absolutely correct they kick out 4.2v from the offset and drop from there so no need for a voltage meter in this one i also used a 16mm switch so there wasn't enough room to put both in - the vv that i do will have a 12mm switch so should leave enough room for the vv module and the display

By all means drop off topic anytime it's what gives AAE-C it's character ... the VV mod is still coming mate just trying to get all the bits together to fit it in nicely and turn things off and on

Phew now i just need to epoxy the whole lot up look good..what are they ??? 3.7v box mods the small ones use a rechargable protected li-ion 14500 battery (around AA size but normal AA's won't work in them) the main reason for them is once you have the mod the batteries are cheaper than getting new eGo etc batteries and should last you a longer amount of time. The larger one uses 2 18650 protected batteries (lavatube size) also li-ion but for that longer vape 2 in parallel near enough doubles the Mah rating on the battery meaning i can take that one on a very long journey in the car and it still have battery power left over when i'm done

Seems like ages ago since you got that display module Mark?! It was mate - the only thing that has stopped me building it arrived just before last weekend and that was the 20 awg wire - the 18650 boxes come with a couple of strands of wire you can just about pick your teeth with and they are far too small to accept the currents passing through them so had to wait for fresh wire - the on/off switches that i ordered and using in the 3.7v won't fit in the VV either so had to order new switches and the boxes come with a depression on the front just about where the switch will go that has to be filled in with epoxy and i had to sand it by hand as i don't have a dremel - Takes forever with nail files

I have a similar one Alvo from LF. It's great for having in your pocket at work and fab in the car as it can't roll away anywhere
