TBH i'm not that keen on most of the J.B range only the devils cut one i do like most of the jack D range though lol lol mainly the single barrel or the gentlemen jack. Not keen on any of the honey ones way to sweet for me. Also i don't like mixers i just like it straight at room temp.

I don't do Honey, tried many moons ago with Drambuie way to sweet, my son likes a Honey Jack but maybe 2 at most, I started with JD back in the 70's that was down to my cousins then boyfriend a US sailor (married her) he brought from the px near every week, boy could he drink that poured in a pint glass about 25% JD the rest coke and had 3 or 4 of those in a night. I got into JB because it was easier and cheaper to get hold of.

I found that it was cheaper to get JD during the pre xmass sales on amazon last year than anywhere else (£25 for the 1.5ltr) also got a bottle of the white rabbit (£20) although to be honest I don't normally drink the stuff, I think I've had maybe 6 tumblers of whiskey /bourbon in a decade, but in the past I used to drink it regularly and always in pint pots

I'm also partial to a Malt Whisky but nothing with a peat back taste, I can't get on with that at all. I like a lot of the Glens and don't mind oak or sherry casked, at one time I would have had it neat or with just a touch of water, however now I commit sacrilege and mix it, to old to care I do what suits me and if nothing else is around I'll go for a Canadian club. Glenmorangie. Glenlivet. Glenfiddich Glen Moray. Those are just a few.

It's an acquired taste, don't do most of the blended now I used to, but somehow my taste buds just don't like them any more, I tried some bells a little bit back as it was foisted on me and had to drown it with mixer, I had not touched it in years and the first thing that hit was how peaty it was but as it was a sad occasion I bit my tongue and said nothing.

So here we go, wrecking ball Friday! Tonights crappy mix is a keyboard smashing Malbec (14% and i have two bottles) from the dirty Argentine Isle coupled with the rather minty Mozart from e-liquid France (once the RA is gone!). Products from two of my most hated countries in one evening.
