worst gig ?? teesside poly/middlesbrough town hall 1984 or 5.. the top of stack strobe lighting dipped right into the audience at eye level blinding everyone every few seconds.. it was a very very irritable crowd as a consequence, a hall full of angry goths ready to slap each other eyes closed and smudge their makeup.. and the stage kit arrived in huge flight cases needing 4 folk a time to lift up n down stairs, or did they get slid/dropped down stairs hehe  nice scant prop free stage tho, unlike bucks fizz who turned up with 3 artics of stage props to make the stage look like the inside of a walkman with 3ft wide tape revolving round drums.. took a day rather than a couple of hours to shift in unpack and set up.. ( paid a flat rate of £15 to set up the bloody stage too 'Grump') new model army were great, they arrived in 2 x transits and lumped their own PA in before we arrived |

Just pondering if I should apply for a job iv seen but the shifts are very strange and I'm not sure I could cope with them.
• 3am – 11am (Day)
• 11am – 7pm (Back)
• 7pm – 3am (Nights)

Yep got everything me as, I used to drive for them threw a agency when there drivers wouldn't take the trucks out in the snow.
