Has anyone had them ring you up to check your account is secure? Really odd telephone conversation just now, lady with American accent asked me to verify my last paypal payment to \vapeescape, I confirmed it and she just said thanks have a nice day!

Anyone see anything fishy about this? ???

It sounds kind of similar to what the bank does sometimes if they notice what they consider to be 'odd' transactions on your account.
I had my bank ring me not long ago to confirm that I had used my card at a newsagent, all because it was in a different area to where I lived! They put a block on my account until I confirmed about 3 different transactions.

that's probably why I don't get phone calls any more my PayPal account gets used daily #icon_rofl# they would probably phone me to see why I am not spending !

Oh so relieved its not only me then, thinking about it later, It may have been because my caps key keeps sticking so my password would be mixed upper and lower case, I had to input it about 6 times, plus the fact that I spent the same amount of money in two days. I suppose its things like this that will trigger a response from them.
