Trying to Identify a LG Battery

Reclaimed from (I think) a Dell lappy battery pack. Struggling to ID the model, capacity and current drain capability

its sounds like a special order cell, you might have better luck looking up what it came from

oh forgot to mention the j part refers to batch and date of manufacture and the location of production so generally you can ignore it


anyhow it looks like its not a good idea to use for vapeing

LGABD11865) is an ICR battery which has a 2C drain limited to 6A. That one requires a special charger that terminates at 4.35V instead of the normal 4.2V. They're really good batteries provided you have the special charger for them and don't need a high drain battery, but for most vapers, they're not going to be very practical. The shrink wrap on them is pink

thanks nanotm I think it may be going through the works network may not have helped search results earlier. In terms of vaping, these have been performing very well for a year and a half in a vamo/lavatube/similar so only low current required and they charge perfectly well in a nitecore i2... I just got curious about the actual spec

ahh

well i'd hedge my bets and say they were the 2000 > 2500mah variant if they are old, newer ones come in around 3000mah, but as their low current there not much good from most devices /
