Here's my way. May work for you too. Single micro coil approx. 1.0ohm set high up. Muji cotton snug fit so that you can still turn it while it's in the coil. Fit outer ring with cotton pushed upwards and cut flush with top. Gently push cotton down from off the coil ends (essentially doubling back the cotton) with flat edged dental hook until it meets juice slots. Only do this once then leave alone. No need to tinker with it. Works every time for me. No dry hits, no gurgling. It did indeed work and I followed your advice to the letter using 1.0 ohm AI pre coil. I set the coil a bit too high on the first go and coil shorted to inner funnel when tank screwed on. Unscrewed and pushed coil down lightly and got a 0.75 ohm reading from the MOD (istick 60W). Juiced and go. Have now gone through 3 tanks (10ml) with no leaks, no snap, crackle and booms. No dry hits. Did not push the cotton around to get light through holes as recommended everywhere. The two holes are fairly well stuffed with cotton. I guess it'll remain leakless until the cotton shrivels or moves So I thank you unclegromit

Long may it continue to perform without problem.

Andy! are you using really thick juice?? I only ask because you seem to be doing everything else right, I'm the worlds worst when it comes to wicking and of all the tanks I've had, the subtank is the only one I've never had a problem with apart from one little leak when I under wicked it, but I've never had one dry hit and I toot five or six times in quick succession, my old juice was 50/50 but now I'm using 70Vg/30Pg, I'm also wondering if it's your coil as you say your using micro coils perhaps they can't take enough juice in and burn it off too quickly, I think the coils for the RBA that come with it are around 3mm bore, I'm using 0.5 ohm twisted coils with a 3mm bore, so it may be worth trying a bigger bore coil,,
