Not sure if anybody has seen this vlogger on Youtube. Actually its a couple of blokes who married Chinese girls and have spent the last 10 years or so living in China. One of the blokes (Winston - aka serpentza) lives in Schenzhen and the other (C Milk) has lived in a number of places. Its detailed advisories to those wishing to visit/reside in China...useful I'd say. Quite some spectacular photo shooting/footage. oh...Smoking only by the Chinese and no vaping. I was thinking about the digicig articles... so this vlogger introduces a lot more details and is carried out largely on foot and by m.bikes/car. Shows a lot of electronics etc Malls amongst much other. Also some troubled experiences. Good number of countryside pieces. This I think is about 500+ vids of max 20mins or so each. This vlog relieves me of the sh*te that is UK TV etc. And rerminds me of city (emerging) walks I did in the M. East before internet and DLSRs/Drones. A m.bike crash and background story: The whole vid list: (kept up to date) www.youtube.com/user/serpentza/videos

IMO, don't install apps that may compromise your device/privacy/security. GearBest Permissions: Version 2.6.2 can access: Identity find accounts on the device Contacts find accounts on the device Photos/Media/Files read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storage Storage read the contents of your USB storage modify or delete the contents of your USB storage Camera take pictures and videos Wi-Fi connection information view Wi-Fi connections Other download files without notification receive data from Internet view network connections send sticky broadcast control flashlight full network access control vibration prevent device from sleeping Cheers I Thats certainly the case if the smart phone is not controlled under App Info/Permissions (No permissions granted). However, who could possibly trust commercial software? I think the problem really lies where folk hold their whole life story on these devices...just asking for it really?

Apols if already known but as title. Using their App knocks off between 20 and 40 percent on a number of items. Can be seen on some item pages as... Save an extra £1.42 for using the App For instance: www.gearbest.com/men-s-watches/pp_274131.htmlI know its cheapo watches but I clocked this game when a local watch shop attempted to charge my wife £10 for a 50p battery change. Buy a cheopo watch was the answer for half that price. So I bought two different ones and well pleased with result. Likely have to bin them after a year but... There are many other offers like that though. Likely not vape stuff so much?

No issues in IE either chykensa . . . . . I've just done the FF fix as suggested by calnorth and it's all good now. ( To change the value to false - you need to click on the ' toggle ' drop down option . . . . although I've not changed it back yet as recommended below. ) Appears that FT is working with Firefox security now...Mon 3:28 pm

The plot thickens - I'm using Google Chrome Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) and if I left-click links, they get me to a blank page. However, if I right click and select 'open link in a new tab' it works every time! I'm now officially confused! I'm also confused Andy I've checked with PB support & no issues the same as yours are coming up. Google Chrome Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) works ok...unless its corrupt somehow? FT still has a Firefox problem with certificates. Monday 3.17 am Adblock don't do it from time to time so I use uBlock. uBblock can control specific web pages that push junk ads called Ads on page. Setting that to block specific ads can leave a blank page(or partly blank) which is still a pain. Adblock may do similiar? If any browser appears to be a problem the next thing to do is clear its cache...goto Settings/Advanced and Clear browsing data Clear history, cookies, cache and more. That'll clean the browser out and you'll likely loose all links. Try FT etc again. If that doesn't work then in Settings/Advanced.... Reset and Restore settings to their original defaults. Try FT etc again. Ultimately...remove the browser from the computer.... goto Control Panel/Uninstall program and uninstall the browser. Download a new copy of Chrome or other browser.

Early this morning (sunday about 2am) Fasttech was blocked by Firefox with this error: (and still is 11.26 am) "Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.fasttech.com. Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT" That can be skirted round with a change to about.config and setting security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling;true to security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling;false Is a security certificate problem at their end. Does not affect Fasttech site via Google Chrome though..currently.

Thanks for that - I like this guy's videos, Verri naissssssssss! No it is not the same - his coil doesn't have the massive lugs like mine and the left hand one in the pic above. However the idea of drifting out the inner barrel is sound. Taking out the pin on my one I see lugs on the bottom too, so I'm hoping both upper and lower sets are attached to the inner barrel, or I mght be bashing away for a very long time. Once I get the thing out, I will still have to figure out how to get the new coil and cotton back in... The coils you show above are the type I attempted to dismantle....with lugs. Nothing budged with the drill inserted/tapped/wacked and then the outer case deformed. It was indeed a worry as regards re-installing the cotton adequately having tried similar with Kangertech vertical coil innards. Leaking would so easily result. You can get the coils cheaper (£7.68 per 5) from FT and which requires Bitcoin. 1.8ohm coils: www.fasttech.com/products/0/10009799/2996000-authentic-aspire-triton-replacement-coil-head-5 Important information and restrictions: This item can only be purchased via Bitcoin (XBT) or gift certificates (store credits). Bitcoin is secure and popular. First time using Bitcoin? Click here to get started within minutes. Getting round the Bitcoin requirerment I can advise on...by cancelling/converting a different purchase to gift cerificates first

domesticextremistIf thats what I think it is the rebuild video is this: (circa 2015) I tried the procedure on both original and clone Aspire Triton coils. The act of rammng the drill into the case distorts the case body and the game is over. You might try it, but as far as I can see the inner case sleeve that needs to be removed is seriosly tight in the outer case. Perhaps more patiece and care is required...I expire on that very early and continue to use the RBA. The clone coils from Fasttech (FT) suffer production faults..in that the two case parts are misaligned somewhat so partially blocking the vent holes. I left comment on FT about that.

Just received a $25 Kangertech Subox mod C kit from Gearbest using Yodel. Shipped from China 8 days ago with 97p express thingy paid. GB show a pic of the package sitting on their weigh scales on my Account/Shipping page. It has two large bar codes on its label and is exactly what I received. No EU warning...no origin cost declaration. Just the bar coding. I suspect that data in the bar code must provide the export details. So I would never know what had been declared until HMRC wacked it? No VAT/Handling charge on this....gr8!

Have been watching this thread for a few days now. I used to do regular large shipments to and from the US and to some small extent China direct. I had GPS equipment manufacturing in China and logistic arrangements in the US. Yep..you can ask for a lower declaration.
I was hit with the ParcelForce handling charge of £10 every time because my shipments were $200 - $800. Until one day I got a letter form HMRC asking for the original sales invoice from country of origin (seller). The questions put were what is this stuff, its cost and seller info. That could so easily flip round to the US IRS. It culminated in a 14 day delay and the usual VAT plus £10. I think it was a random pick up then - 7 yrs back. I suspect they gain much targetted info now from use of better logistics etc computing systems. Add the EU into that and anything to do with suspected terrorism/drugs.
Whats to say that HMRC and friends(?) aren't watching sites like this?

On a lighter note about the internet? Last couple of days I spent seeking a method of unbricking my Sony Xperia T phone. That was on a Sony upgrade and of which TBH I wasn't quite sure what they were doing. About 40 seconds in and it all crashed out with dumb error codes.
That smartphone was rendered a dead duck..no switch on. I assumed the bootloader had been corrupted. So I went on the hunt for the related firmware and flashtool.
After about 6 hours of website combing(mainly indian) and stupid Youtube vids(mainly indian), I came across a Brit vid that got me to the point of flashing the dead duck with the right firmware. He showed it in action and gave warning that if it didn't work it was for the bin. Well, it didn't work along with the usual shower of dumb errors.
He said only flash with the kernel file out of many others. So I flashed it with all files. The flash ran for about 15 secs and stopped without errors...ummm? So I switched it on and it booted ok. Tricky..because this thing is locked to O2

Is this finish what might be called Concours Stomper . Because it is truly magnificent from the pics. Be too scared to drive the car like that. Edit..I think most of us would require a good few instructions on simply washing a car without scratching it?

See this...."Dr. Siegel is a Professor"
I lost it with the rank (title) of Professor pretty much when the climate crap kicked off. If he happens to be a good practitioner..well then, good! However, using the title as backup and doing what he has done is within my widening crap measuring parameters. Nobody is going to do anything about it I suspect...so he takes his profession down with him I think.

The internet exposes us to extreme sh*te 24/7. And if its about any one main thing...its money. So I simply skim it for substance which in most cases is not there:
quote:
However, just like cigarettes, e-cigarettes contain poisonous ingredients. This includes a flavored nicotine solution and humectants, substances that helps retain moisture and produce a vapor which is inhaled.
unquote
Ends right there...measuring is hardly like with like!

Had another spoof from some windscreen modding company (seemingly) in Crowborough Sussex. Emailed them to tell them and no response. Am beginning to think such websites are purposely setup for phishing?
An lo and behold yesterday...in pops a paypal phisher.. Account Update they say...tw*ts!!
Looks like some dumb security company has been hacked..as the source in the header is "account support <sec@sec.com>"
I might send that to paypal but since they never provide either news or FB on such things...whats the point?
