Yes you may have a point there BrenD - it hasn't been a problem in the previous years but as it is ticketed this time it may make a difference.

Does that mean that if you are not camping, it would be advisable to buy a camping ticket so that you can stay on site after official closing time ? Or am I talking shite ?

The camping tickets are per adult, not per tent. Otherwise there could be a lot more than you in vereybowring s tent, striker42 !

Yep quite a wee roadtrip for you all, striker42! ... I'm thinking of coming over from the northcoast of NI too, to join in the festivities.

As this seems to be the thread where people are talking, is anyone else feeling a little twitchy about Friday night/staying after hours on Saturday? Those of us not camping, obviously. Out on the town on Friday if those of us who aren't camping can't get in? If you are referring to what i am thinking, then ask where you are staying, about getting in after hours, I know I will be Ah! see what you mean about the Friday night get together - could cause problems if we can't get in.

We take a very liberal view of this. It works thusly.... People who don't cause problems will be welcome, people who do cause problems may be leaving well before 10. Don't worry about it, but also please don't take the pee, if you're camping, pay for camping, if you're not you're welcome to stay, but if you're not gone by about 3am eyebrows are likely to be raised, it's all about being sensible. Remember that ticketing isn't my choice, it's something that has to be done. We'll be able to identify those who are camping by some limited edition apparel, those people will also have the chance to win something special...and will need to present their limited edition apparel to qualify.... more on that later

Looking like we'll be fine to share a few drinks on the Friday night Bob as long as we conduct ourselves in an orderly manner and give due respect to those who are camping. We'll know it's leaving time when we hear DiscoDes revving up the wheelbarrow Thanks ukric for the info, much appreciated.

Sounds good to me. How should we do it ? Should people each bring what they want to eat themselves, or does someone want to say what needs bringing ? Or does 1 person want to buy it all and we can all paypal them ?
