Advice please

Hey

I've made a strawberry menthol liquid, it's a bit harsh and was wondering if a sweetner would smooth it out or would a few drops of strawberry help?

I found a recipe through the mix calculator

I mixed it 70/30

Strawberry @ 7%
Menthol @ 9%

Think I used to much menthol

I did something similar with stawberry and lime mixed them at 10% strawberry and 5% lime result was way to much lime, next time I will try 2% lime. I think you might be hard pressed to get it under control but maybe more strawberry would help a little, but as you have now found menthol needs a light touch, it might come under better to little as you can always add, so next time you will crack it.

I'll try less menthol next time, just the harshness on a sore throat don't help but it's vapeable

I mixed some tobacco and menthol for my OH, she hated it as the tobacco was not to her liking, but I think I may have been to light on the menthol. I think I only used 1% or 2% at most, my feeling was 3% would have been better in that mix and might have masked the chemical back taste of the tobacco, as it stands she does not want to bother for now and will keep to her pre-made from the local market it has a E-cig UK place but if she is happy I won't rock the boat.

That is a lot of menthol.

You could make up another batch with just the 7% Strawberry.......and add the two together.

At least that will bring the menthol down to 4.5%

You could make up another batch with just the 7% Strawberry.......and add the two together.

At least that will bring the menthol down to 4.5%
