TCR Settings DNA200 SS316L

Hi im trying to set tc on my dna200 with the tcr settings not the csv file as my laptop wont reconise it, ive found the settings for SS316L on stealphvape where i purchased the wire from but not sure what to put in.

I know the tcr ends in 92 from googling it but read that some companies give you the exact tcr which is why i ordered from stealthvape could someone please enlighten me on the correct tcr to set ive put a screen shot of the sites values below.

Looking at that they recommend 0.000879 which is close to what SS317 is, I usually find that 0.00092 - 0.00097 is the best range for stock coils on the Triton & Crown, I still haven't got round to trying the SV wire yet

Thanks Bob the TC on the dna200 is a whole new ball game. So would i set that tcr in the profile i make for SS and see how it gos and adjust to what works best ?

Well that's what I normally do with other TCR mods, I tend to use the csv files for my DNA200s

I tried downloading the csv file and its saying my lap top doesnt reconise it. Windows 8 will need to look into it asking to search the web for a program to read it.

I have to use google chrome to download it as ie won't do it
Just search steam engine in chrome then open and download csv

I would first make sure you have the latest EScribe from here I have been using it since it was released with no probs. There is a SS316 profile on it that is very close to the SteamEngine SS316L Elite, but to get the one from Steam engine: don't use Internet explores, use Fire Fox or Chrome, go to WireWizard, choose "SS 3161L / Elite" from the 2nd drop down in the Wire Builder section, then under the Temperature control results section (top centre) click DNA 200, then Click "Download TFR table as CSV".


Then in EScribe you need to add the wire in the Materials tab


You can then either add it to a profile or select it from the device by locking (5 clicks on fire) and hold all 3 buttons down for a few seconds, it is a good idea to make one of your custom fields Coil material

Thankyou VapingBad sorry im using windows 7 with firefox, just fired up escribe and as you said new software avaliable and firmware.

Do i do all the above and save it in say profile 1 ?

Going to have a go at this now but struggling with a bad chest infection so no vaping but can get everything set up for when feeling better.

Yes, I would put a wire type on each profile to start with, Ti is already there.

I have
1 Origenny (this has ohms locked)
2 Aromanizer (All Ni tanks)
3 NiFe30
4 Ti
5 SS316L
6 Ni dry burn
7 NiFe30 dry burn
8 Ti dry burn

But now you change wire type you may want to base them on preheat setting, I max preheat on 2-5 above, 1 is a special case with ss wick and I turn it off on the dry burn ones.

BTW you can now choose Temperature Dependent on a profile to make your main adjustment temp rather than watts and can change the scroll speeds at the bottom of the Theme tab, I use the slowest.

Ok so far so good ive downloaded the csv file put the new material and in materials how do i know that the file i downloaded from SE has gone into my escribe settings it its in my downloads on my laptop ?

EDIT: just found save material button which allowed me to pick the csv file

Well ive loaded 4 profiles Ti Ni200 KanthalA1 SS316L Elite and made a screen for them aswell, still a great deal to learn but enjoying myself,

Got my DNA200 just over a week ago! love it! still a lot to learn! i take one step at a time@grandad and VapingBad is the main man here and on a certain DNA200 forum! in fact i`m so happy with mine i`ve got another on it`s way

I know what you mean lush about addictive i own 2 DNA200 now but been happy with running with kanthal but decided to jump in and test the water and blimey its deep.

Yeh ive seen VapingBad on another forum and certainly knows his stuff, i learn a bit more day by day about these mods but a long way to go.

Hoping to try a ss build on the velocity when i feel better even 3mg is tearing my chest to bits at the moment

I know it might be sad but I bloody love it.
