Have the IPV D2 and the evic mini. Maybe it's novelty but prefer the evic mini. IPV D2 only goes down to 7 watts. No good with a cold kayfun. evic mini goes lower than that. Also had problems with battery door on IPV D2 (it falls off)

Ive had the Innokin Disrupter for a month or two, would recommend it, spare batteries are on amazon for about £12 to £15, only thing about buying the battery and disrupter separate is you wont get a USB charger.

I'm a low watt Kayfun person - don't vape anything above 12 watts (and more usually around 8 - 10).

My favourite mods are the evic minis, I have 2. Never bothered upgrading the firmware in either as just using normal kanthal coils around 1.4 ohms. They just work really well, have a nice big screen, are the perfect size and i get ages out of a single 18560.

Thanks spacey, you and my wife sound as if you have very similar vaping tastes. I'll have a good look around for an Evic Mini, it sounds as if it might be just the thing for her. Can you charge via USB, or do you need to remove and swop batteries?

You can charge via usb chykensa - though I've never done it that way. Am sure it works fine

The usb port is just under the screen and not stupidly placed on the bottom which is good!

You see I'm the same - low watt (8-10 again) kayfun girl - but only had the evic mini a week so can't really say much about it

If you are looking at replaceable battery mods I would recommend the evic mini all day long ... I have 3 and they never miss a beat. If you are looking at fixed battery, I would recommend the Innokin MVP pro 3.0 ... 4500mAh battery and built like a 1960s Mercedes ... About £35 from FT.

Thanks @yinyang - it's for the OH, and the MVP would just be too big for her. She has had an iStick 20w and now a Coolfire 4 (old style), and even that is too big. I will visit a local respected B &M tomorrow and see what they have in stock, but liking the look of the Evic Mini

Be careful @ B&M prices chykensa - local B&M wanted £66 for the evic mini. I paid just over half of that from nature vapes (although in local B&M store's defence they have done wonders for vaping here and also sold me my first KFL+ last year at a very good price )

Thanks @johanino, but my local B & M is well-known for their prices being low. They don't do mail order, just shop purchases, and I've looked at the new Sigelei Spark and a Kangside Lipo mod this morning, just need to wait for payday and I'll be back over to Penryn for a purchase I think!
