Partitioning ?

Ok so fully had enough of using the android all the time and bought a new laptop .

When I booted it up it asked me how I wanted to partition the disc and I went for the default. When everything finished loading I was very happy with my new PC until I noticed I only had 50 gb allocated across two partitions. Have done a bit playing about and phoned a friend and freed up most of the space. But my afternoon learning has made me realise I want three partitions to the drive the c drive for systems , the e drive for drivers and a d drive for everything else, I'm not sure why I want this but my geek friend seems to think its the right set up to have unfortunately she doesn't use windows enough to tell me how to reverse my earlier decision to have two partitions , I tried using the boot disc but all that seemed to be doing is re-installing Windows 7. Any ideas?

Contact the maker of the laptop think its like a hardware thing but don't quote me on that or google it hope you get it sorted

Thanks Queenie !! I am very impatient I can contact the manufacturer tomorrow , or wait to speak to my local geek but I want to fix it NOW!

what make is it I will try to find something on google for you if not have you browsed the laptop for a reset on the hardware?

Yeah me too , ten years ago it rarely defeated me but in these plug in and play days I've forgotten what I knew and am not happy when it lets me down. I really want to just wipe and start again as there is nothing on the new lappy but its asking where I want to put the new version of windows and I don't want to make it worse by putting it in the wrong place think I will just wait till I can get local geek to take a look or phone fujutsi if I have enough time before work, they're opening hours are 930 to 1730 monday to Friday do they not know people work !!

Tick VG - or Partition Magic will do it.
Though with only one physical disc, there isn't much benefit to having
more than two partitions - one for the OS one for your data.
