My order was W1603281201386845. If Gearbest makes an error posting a price and books a sale through PayPal they should be forced to honor it by both PayPal and this Forum. If they were forced into accepting the financial loss of fulfillment for their errors they would no longer make them guaranteed.

If they fail to honor these orders as placed by the good people on this forum they should, without a doubt lose their vendor status on this Forum as it must be assumed that they purposely are employing deceitful marketing techniques to drum up interest in these products by falsely advertising Flash Sale pricing for products they never intended to sell at that pricing as this appears to be a pattern of behavior they have established.

Gearbest should lose their vendor status here if they do not take immediate action to honor these purchases.

If GB want to be seen as a serious company, want to really learn from their mistakes and improve both their company and their reputation they should simply honour the contract they entered when they sold these.

I think enough members know how to shop with gearbest and have done with no problems. That's great! Happy for them. But its the dishonesty, incompetence and lacklustre apologies of the company which would not, and should not, be tolerated any where else.
This will happen again and again, as has been seen. This forum does not need vendors like this on here.
To be a vendor here is a privilege not a right. Something Gearbest haven't understood

Just to let you all know, Gearbest's future on the forum (is yet again) under discussion in the staff room. In fact there has been on going discussions about them for quite some time. I'll let you all know our majority verdict about them as soon as we have reached one.

I placed an order for the above, have had the email notifying me of the 'error', replied to that email, and now they are offering me the chance to purchase at cost price $35.99 (£25 ish) !! Anyone else??

It is true @spikeyfridge, there are members who have had no trouble shopping with GB. But what about those of us who have purchased stuff only to find the price is a mistake. Those of us that have ordered items that are in stock only to find they are OOS, ordered stuff on a pre sale of about three weeks when nothing turns up after three months, add to that, advertising gear they never had, couldn't get now and never will in the future. As for offering a dissy code for less than a fiver off, I would call that an insult, as by posting it on the open forum anyone can have the discount, not just the folks that put their cash up last night. I'm beginning to think car147 could be right, a quick way to raise some funds for a short period.

That's what I'm saying. There have been more complaints about their shoddy business antics than any others. And it's the customers who suffer. Financial greed has taken over the reputable, honest ethics of this company. Shame on Gearbest, I say.
