Says it's the same board as the SX-Mini but i'm not so sure.
I have an M-Class and admittedly i haven't bothered doing any firmware updates on it so not sure if this is a firmware upgrade or not but the M-Class doesn't go up to 80W

Anyone able to clear it up?

I think it is a case of taking liberties with the language like when robby was investigating a GB in a SX Mini M Class copy they said something similar. But after repeated questioning form robby is was BS, same main chip different fw and god knows what else, robby did a great job looking after us there.

Yeah i thought it sounded bogus.
If you read the questions on GB though someone asks if it's the YIHI 350J and GB answer with
 "Hi Holgeroliver, it has the same chip as YIHI SX MINI."
Alright you expect this kind of wordplay stuff with clone manufacturers on Alibaba but bit cheeky of GB to do it.

I did notice they had links for firmware upgrades on there and it's just rar file download links from Amazon not links to the YiHi site.

I chucked in an order for one anyway see what it's like i had a couple of quid in the bank there from all the cockups so no huge loss if it turns out to be a complete pile of poo.

I'll do the board check when i install the battery but yeah i expect it to be a clone.

looking at the web page it seems to suggest it has the SD360 chip inside

but given that YiHi sx mini was made with a lot of different chips depending on which variant and when it was produced your meaning, so claiming its got the same thing inside as a sx mini isn't exactly saying much,

the sb360 chip looks like it is the sx350j v2 with customised firmware, and the sb350 is the sx350j v1 again with custom firmware (if my chingrish translator is working right) which would mean that the claims of it being the same chip were both right and wrong, right in terms of the hardware on the board being the same, but wrong in the sense that the firmware is a major part of how good it is and that isn't the same thing .....

I didn't think YiHi manufacture chips (interrelated circuits), it's a very specialised production facility and I have assumed they out source them like most everyone else and just design & assemble the boards. That includes getting their IC design produced, which is IIRC what the vendor in the GB I was referring to claimed that it was the same IC made in the same factory and didn't claim that it was a YiHi chip, but rather tried to avoid that question. The easy test is will it accept YiHi fw updates.

Got the mod it is a snide board it's pretty decently made mod though can't complain at £20 for an 80W mod.
