Hi I am thinking of using mesh in my tanks (kayfuns, taifuns, etc) I've got some questions, what size mesh should I use? Can I use coils I normally use for cotton or do I need to make them differently? Any help greatly appreciated

Taifun is great for mesh. you have to pre treat your rolled mesh as per genesis builds then wrap the wire around it before putting it to the deck. As for mesh size I think my sheet is 200 but I cant remember TBH .

I think mesh size depends on wicking ability - the higher the number the smaller the mesh - and theoretically the better the wicking.
I was using 400mesh in me genesis - should still have an A3 sheet somewhere = in case of emergencies LoL

200 mesh for vg heavy, 300/325 for 50/50 and 400 for pg heavy is the general rule of thumb

At least when the tank's full/half-full....it'll need tipping & tilting to get the dregs.

can I ask what's better for max vg juice because when ive messed with mesh I had to put cotton in it to help with wicking when using a ud genny type tank I got a mini chells clone atty and have seen vids of them using mesh and it seems a good idea because wicking that little sucker with cotton is hard work, its a 16mm tank for micro stick and is ruddy good when /if wicked right

Never tried doing it like that so thought Id throw some mesh at a pre coiled kayfun and it worked out a treat. This might end up being my new favourite kayfun wicking. Its like TC for mechs, you can vape it dry with no risk of burnt wicks.
