Just popped the Notch into me Cubis - think you'd really like it DiscoDes

Have you tried the RBA yet perchance? I took the one i got given at Joyetech apart to have a lookie - and looked a tad fiidly for me.

Now i have the one from the Mini kit might be tempted to have a go though

I'd like to try the Notch Coils but I have a SS316 @ 0.5 ohm in at the moment and it's reallyy giving a nice vape.

I do have the RBA head and have re-coiled it a couple of times with Nickel but the SS one is better.

The Cubis RBA i got given at Joyetech came with SS installed - not sure about the one with the mini - but have some SS to have a play

Will be trying all the heads over the next week or so to see which gives me better battery life

OK, I've decided to go for the SS Notch Coils from Bargain Coils it's nice to be able to support a vendor that supports the forum.

What swayed me besides the above is how easy it is to rewick them with new cotton.

I wonder if I can use the notch coils out of the heads in the RBA head......

I ordered some of the Notch RBA coils from FT with that in mind DiscoDes LoL

Trying the SS Notch in me Cubis + Rx200 (reads 0.28 Ohms) side b side with the SS 0.5 in me Cuboid mini set up (reads 0.55 Ohms after DiscoDes posting about looking for them -

Cuboid mini set to 25W and 230C and having to set the Rx200 Notch to 40W and 230C to match it!

Never really tried the SS in the cubis - i dropped the original after only a couple of days - and hadn't gotten around to trying the SS

So having now tried them concurrently - is the Notch significantly better? For the Cuboid mini - with its limited battery life - for me i must say probably not. In the Rx200 - the Notch definitely has plenty more 'playing' room - having a much wider range of options for finding everyone's vaping 'sweet spot' - and of course the promised added longevity

BTW - unsurprisingly - the 1.5 O Clapton coils (of which i ordered a couple of extra packs) has been the least impressive i've tried - like the MTL and battery life - but the flavour is disappointing in comparison - though acceptable at a push! LoL

Hola digicig I got some next day from Bargain Coils and they are fantastic!
I plan to do a short review of them soon.

I know thee ordered some Notch coils DiscoDes

but thought that if anyone else were still looking at the thread i'd add Elegant Vapour to the list of vendors to look at

The Notch are excellent on a dual/Trio battery mod, but the Cuboid Mini's battery gets hammered by them - The Cubis and Cuboid are running them very nicely

So thanks for recommending the 0.5 SS head - which has brought the battery life today (more out and about kinda day) to 12 hours
