The South West Trains - Network Rail Alliance Passenger Forum will be held at Waterloo station in London tomorrow, between 7am and 7pm. If you disagree with South West Train's vaping policy and you are passing through Waterloo tomorrow this forum presents a good opportunity to discuss it with them. "Managers from across the business will be on hand....." They should probably be made aware of the Royal College of Physicians' report ( Nicotine without smoke: Tobacco harm reduction): doctors have endorsed vaping and this South West Train policy works against medical and public health opinion and penalises both vapers and smokers. Screenshot of the Forum page: And this is their smoking policy: "Smoking For the comfort of all our customers, smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted on any part of our trains or stations. You can smoke outside the station entrance or in our car parks."

I wish I was in the area tomorrow. Real pain having to leave the station to vape! BrenD this will be of to interest you as a regular SW train user, even though you will also be the wrong end of the line having lunch with me tomorrow

I often have to do an 8 hour train trip - no vapes anywhere! Not on the platform, not in the train (Virgin trains) Not right! simple. I have to pay big pharma just to stay sane . It's really not worth asking if you can vape on trains anymore or in the station. You know more about vaping than network rail employees!!!
