Up until now my vaping journey has bumbled along just nicely, starting out with CE4's etc and moving on to bigger and better things with TC & Sub Ohm etc. One area I have avoided, or shied away from is the world of dripping. I have tried it, and got a couple of, well you would have to say tiny drippers. I was not too impressed as they were fiddly and needed a top up every other draw. All in all they were crap. So they are relegated to back of the vaping draw So I'm thinking I need to widen my horizons and give it another go. This time with a man sized dripper. So I want your opinions on my weapon of choice. I seem to have gone from a hand grenade to a nuclear tactical weapon, but hey ho, in for a penny as they say. I want taste, and I want vapour, and I want ease of use. The dripper of choice seems to be getting great reviews. The GeekVape Tsunami 24. GeekVape have a good reputation as far as I can see, and the Tsunami is being held in good esteem. So now it would appear they have brought out a bigger and hopefully better Tsunami 24. - Larger space to accommodate more cotton - Hollow positive pin for Squonk MOD - Improved Velocity-style deck with 2.1mm x 3.0mm post holes - Adjustable Kennedy-style airflow with 4 x φ4.0mm air holes - Available for single or dual coil - Three types of drip tip available - Environmentally friendly long lifespan SS316 set screw - PEEK insulator in top quality imported material - Adjustable positive pole with full gold-plated housing The bigger deck seems to me to not only hold more cotton, which is great, it has capacity to house two coils, and being bigger means less fiddle. The internals seem to be similar to the well received Tsunami, just slightly bigger.
So what is the verdict? This seems like a very decent RDA and a step up in my armory of vaping choices. I found most of my information from HERE, and other places. The price seems reasonable too.

The tsunami is an outstanding RDA If you want crazy builds and large clouds with very good flavour then go for it

I have 2 tsunami 22m I haven't tried yet but also I have an original and a few velocity clones. I test my juices in the velocity and love it. I prefer the vape from larger tanks like the griffin 25 so I reckon a larger rda would also be great

Is your opinion based on the original Tsunami or the 24 or both blakey ? I'm in roughly the same boat as Bobsbeer, don't know how many drippers I've tried but the only two I've kinda got on with are two velocity clones, but I can't help thinking there must be something a bit better. Edging towards a Tsunami or an Alliance V2.

Edging towards a Tsunami or an Alliance V2. The velocity was my favourite dual coil RDA right up till the tsunami 22, the airflow seems to be the deciding difference and on the tsunami the coil is sitting right in the air stream. The only difference I can find between the 22 & the 24 is a slightly larger chamber allowing for crazier coils I put a couple of 5mm inner diameter notch coils in the 22 and whilst they went in and worked well I found the same coils seemed much more at home in the larger attie. Performance on temp control running at 440f was pretty much identical Then I tried a couple of 13wrap .3 ni200 with 3mm inner diameter coils and found that the 24 performed ever so slightly better than the 22 with the same set up. The 24 now lives on my @windows dna200 squonker and they are unlikely to be separated for a good long while.

Got the tsunami not so long ago from one of the comps from EVS and I must say that as much as I loved velocity the tsunami outperforms it in my opinion. Although I wish they got the 24mm version out before I won the 22mm as it seems that I could have the bigger one... But probably will get it regardless. Build deck is big enough for some fancier coils but I can't really show anything off as don't have a device that would pull something beefier (well.. not yet anyway ). However I love the flavour more from Tsunami than from Velocity! And a 4mm diameter coil with 9 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal sits there like it is at home...

Thanks pancser. Not sure which colour I prefer. Usually I'm a stainless fan, but in this case I think I like the black.
