Team viewer hacked

You will know if you use it, it is computer desktop sharing program, say you wanted help with or to show me something on your PC we would both run it, you would give me 2 numbers that allow me to see your screen, use the mouse & keyboard, get sound and transfer files with the same authorisation rights as you.

I use it, my main booking system is on my laptop in reception, but I can access it from either of my other Pcs around the house, very useful when taking telephone bookings.

Reading up on this today, you can whitelist computers
Just tested it here and set all our computers for only my one to gain remote access

extras > options > security > black & white list > manually add contact to your whitelist
In the email address or company name box, add your 9 digit id number of the pc you want to access from

Tried accessing computers that I did it to from other computers on our network and the firewall worked

Whitelist doesn't seem to work for me, perhaps a reboot on all pcs is needed for it to take effect

I have done the above to 7 pc's here so far and its been instant
PC's have been a mixture of windows 7 and 10

Tried accessing them from my phone and each other with only one pc on the whitelist and all access has been block apart from my whitelisted pc

I copy the id the pc I want whitelisted and past that into the box when you click on "manually add contact to your whitelist"
