They are arn't they karma everyone thought my pink riva was a pen on my neck chain at uni lol and were staring at me when I was vaping never mind least we like it eh?

The problem is I like it too much

I really don't want to really on my Riva/Ego bats for the full day wedding. My litle box mod works so much better and the batteries are tiny so easy to take back ups. I just don't like being treated as a curiosity

I didn't really use my ego last night Karma, I get a bit weird/nervous about using e-cig indoors in public so just smoke but not nearly as often as I used. My non smoking friend was really interested in the e-cig for her Mum , she's tried Skycigs but has gone back to smoking full time so sent her a long email with links when I got in last night, also offered her the loan of a riva for a while so hopefully I will have my first convert How are you today I am grand , but walked about 3.5 miles with either my sisters dog or her son in a pushchair so am a bit tired now

Kirsty, I used to be nervy about vaping in public, but nowadays I just dont worry, sometimes I dont even think about it, now I would like people to ask about it, you never know they may only be to happy to try. The first time I vaped in a pub felt strange at first but I soon forgot about it and enjoyed my time out more than I have done since the smoking ban

I didn't feel comfy vaping indoors due to some of the company, so was going outside with the smokers

I vaped indoors at my Dad's party a few months ago and felt fine, but it was different company.

I'm seriously thinking about taking smoking up again for the wedding

Hey Karma, wedding went well thanks it was great, i started off stealth vaping throughout the day and then as the wine slowly crept up on me as it got later and later I just went for it! lol, got a few funny looks but other than that nobody said a word! Couldn't believe it!

No you wouldn't be taking up smoking again you may choose to smoke a couple on the Wedding Day as you will be too busy too vape normally and like it or not a fag is the quickest way of getting nicotine into your system, but the next day you'll go back to vaping and be fine. Doesn't it say on every web site we visit that its not a cessation device its an alternative, its a great alternative but occasionally we may revert back to the original. We shouldn't get annoyed if we slip up . I thought I would have quit completely by now but I also thought the fags I have would have ran out late January so I still think I'm doing great folks like you who gave up ages ago are doing fantastic! It's one day it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things!

Anyway I have a feeling you don't really need my wee pep talk as you won't smoke anyway but I've given it anyway

I was on a course today.

My colleague has been vaping a cig-a-like since November and we were both allowed to vape indoors

I had my box mod, she's not interested in my set up, she has 3 cig-a-likes and loads of pre filled cartos. She had intended to eventually quit vaping but admitted to me today that she enjoys it too much and is happy with her healthier alternative to cigs!

I felt that our choices were more respected in this situation than on Saturday night, which I find strange

At one point during the course, she forgot herself and just picked up her cig-a-like and vaped and nobody batted an eyelid

At one point someone said 'OMG it's like real smoke', we just explained that it wasn't 'smoke' just vapour and it was totally accepted
