Hi all.. i have been buying replacement coils from eBay as they are a good price... i used to buy whatever were the right type, I didn't know about the ohms. i used to get very dishearten by the vape , no taste and not much vaper. I was told that the lower the ohms the better. So I have been getting the 1.8 ohm ones, and boy do I get great taste and vaper now.
the only thing is I search for the 1.8 ohms but sometimes I think they are sending me 2.5ohm or higher,, not what I ordered. how can I tell the difference between the two..
or or which coils do I need to get to recoil them myself.. i normaly use gsh3 gsh2 bottom coils..

The coil heads usually have it written on the side, and I suspect your mod/battery has no readout. Unfortunately I don't know the gsh3 gsh2 bottom coils you use wisher

Thanks anyway.. No they don't have anything written on the coils... The only difference I have noticed when buying is the washer on the bottom, on the nice vape ones it's more white, and on the not great ones - they are abit clearer not white at all.. Is this the difference?..?.?

Are these the type of coils you are using ecignature.co.uk/product/gs-replacement-wick/ wisher? If so they do have the ohms etched on the side it should say 1.8 or 2.4 from what I can find they are protank coil heads the only other thing I would say could be a problem is you may be getting clone ones instead of genuine every now and then. edit to add if you are willing to wait fasttech sell the genuine ones for less than what you are paying on ebay www.fasttech.com/products/3007/10009412/1476404

Why not stay with what you have? if you are happy with the flavour and vape and at a good price i can't see any reason to change, recoiling can be done but working with coils that small is fairly tricky, and not recommended..

A cheap Ohm meter would be a wise buy if you think your getting ripped off. would be handy should you wish to go down the coiling your own option. A Cheap ohm meter

I would say since finding out about which ohm type is best, if I get the correct ohm ones they are great. But with eBay you don't always get what you order,, they don't look any different between ohm types... And they never have it etched on the side.. I have bought some in the past from a vape shop and they weren't cheap.. Lasted 2-3days like the eBay ones. But just cost so much more...

I never noticed the different band on the bottom of these,, the whiter band is the what I think 1.8ohm one.. And the rest 2.4 ohm... This is why I am not sure which ones I am getting.. But will look at the fasttech ones, now the price has come down,,, I chain vape when I am at home. So tend to go through them quickly... I use vision variable battery's.

Thanks... So as long as I give it a month. I can order from them... Great stuff.. I don't really want to go down the road of dripping or having big tanks, or even mixing juice . I am just happy with what I have,,
