Kool. Still really new to all this. Can i ask something? What's the lick test, can you taste the flavourings straight out the bottle? Does it give you an indication to what the mixed liquid tastes like? If so i'm off to taste them all now..... No problem... we all have to start somewhere. I don't normally do a lick test... but I believe Perpetua is the Queen of lick testing she can probably explain herself when she comes online.

I'm going to suggest a few basic concentrates that you might find useful to have in at some time in the future Stomper for adding depth and layering flavours if you're not going to go down the one-shot route and would prefer to create your own recipes from scratch: Capella Vanilla Custard V1 Cake Batter Sweet Cream New York Cheesecake Marshmallow The Perfumers/Flavour Apprentice
French Vanilla Deluxe Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Flavorah
Chocolate Deutsch Be wary of adding too much extra sweetener to your mixes as it will be a coil gunker. Thanks Perpetua. Couldn't find them all where i buy mines from but ordered vanilla custard, sweet cream, NY cheesecake, marshmallow and vanilla bean. I went for Caramel, sugar cookie, chocolate, strawberry ripe and raspberry. So will have an excellent collection to start with and to suit my tastebuds .

I have honed the mixing goddess Perpetua lick test, drop of the concentrate on the back of the hand gives you an indication of how strong the concentrate is so you can get a rough guide to how much to add to a mix. Seriously do this now with all my concentrates and my mixing is so much better for it although my tastebuds are pretty fooked so 20% is usually a minimum for me with anything I make

I am happy to demonstrate the technique to you at Vapefest Dave. Very nice selection to experiment with there Stomper. The flavouring yes don't try the mix. I do that as well during the steeping process . . . . just to see how things are progressing.

I rather just vape a little, I found some mixes don't taste so nice during steeping, but the warming by the coil helps a bit.

This is a good site for flavour combos. It is a food site so you will get some results that you can't replicate......just hit the X on anything you want to change. Add one or two of your own selections........the blue synergy circle will tell you how well the flavour combinations work. Give it a try

You may find a dripper of some description useful for testing your potions . . . . . I currently use an iStick 1.8 ohm and max 16.8 watts with K1 and K2 atomisers. The K1 is mouth to lung and the K2 is straight to lung. I enjoy using this as its discreet and can walk about my work chuffing away. Anything bigger for during the day is not do-able although could use something else of an evening.
