My other half is attempting this mod, but the hacksaw blade has started loosing it's teeth lol.
Did folk just use a regular hacksaw blade? Might be easier to drill a hole.

Just use a small needle file and file down two of the four slots on the compression collar by a couple of mm and it'll loosen the draw without losing the structural integrity or looks..Doesn't have to be much just 2 mm per slot will do..
That's the easiest way to do it..Takes 2-3 minutes
