but car is nearly all better
list of bits still needed
rear passenger wheel bearing soonish
electric handbrake bits noisy so some point
air sensor thingy
and a sodding nail in the tyre just to top things off
whish I still had a mk 1 escort woulda cost me about £200 all in this is just getting scary

yep and it handles like a car again
haven't took it on a long run yet as I want to have help at hand if it go poo(gota love yer mum)
half the prob was that the sodding thing has that much engine noise in the cab that you naturally turn the tunes up so I didn't hear the bearing till it was fubared
the squalling was the pads sticking as they were worn and this fubared my rear disk's both sides are now all shiny and new
mot is due next month so had to be done
trying to find a second hand airflow sensor as its set of the warning light but its got a funny shaped plug just to make life fun
