I LOVED B5 and my all time fave was Battlestar Galactica, The Last ship sounds promising. Funnily enough we were watching a recent ITV series tonight, Marcella and it had Jamie Bamber in it with an English accent although it was a bit like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins sort of accent. The Last Ship is typically yahoo American however you take the rough with the smooth and its great to see Adam Baldwin in a sci fi series again and I think theres more smooth than rough with the series - and its just been renewed for a 4th season so must be doing something right plus they were at Comicon this year. I'm assuming theres no need to mention Firefly or Stargate? Which Battlestar? The new one which I could not get into no matter how hard I tried or the one and the only best and original Battlestar Galactica? Starbuck is so NOT a girl *spit* Sci Fi is my passion *whispers* I know someone on this forum who is meeting William Shatner on the bridge of the Enterprise in October and having their photo taken with him ..... Loved Firefly, never go into Stargate, I liked the film at the time but the series did not have the same grab for me. Battlestar Galactica the re-magined series... was absoloutely AWESOME, such a good story arc and had a PROPER ending. It's worth watching for Tricia Helfer alone (number 6) drool, drool, drool........ There were the spin off series as well Blood & Chrome, about how the Cylons came into being and the prequel Caprica that did not last much beyond a few episodes unfortunately. So, who's meeting William Shatner? SPILL!

Scandal and Madam Secretary are pretty good if you're into White House political stuff. Both are well worth a watch.
Suits, obviously.

Another one just occurred to me - the first series of Fargo ...... but not the second series which I thought was dull as ditchwater in comparison
