I watched the first episode but did not watch any more, perhaps I'll revisit it, noted, thanks. Give it a chance Des plus there's some dirtyrudies in it which is always a good thing. Oh and season one of True Detective was brilliant. Couldn't get into season two but it's a completely different character arc and story so that was no biggie. We tried True Detective but did not like it. Penny Dreadful definitely back on the list.

The Last Ship Killjoys - this has grown on me I prefer Dark Matter but am now invested in this one as well. The Expanse - I've read all the books and whilst they have gone a teensy weensy bit off the books they have kept pretty close to them, if you like scifi and liked Babylon 5 then this is the one for you however... like B5 you are going to have to stick with it it takes time to start to roll and this 1st season is pretty much all scene setting. Suits Person Of Interest Zoo The Blacklist

Suits Person Of Interest I LOVED B5 and my all time fave was Battlestar Galactica, The Last ship sounds promising. Funnily enough we were watching a recent ITV series tonight, Marcella and it had Jamie Bamber in it with an English accent although it was a bit like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins sort of accent.

It took me a little while to get into Breaking Bad, but when it finally got me hooked, I was in trouble with it. For a few glorious weeks it came above everything else, especially sleep!
Well worth another go.

The Last Ship is typically yahoo American however you take the rough with the smooth and its great to see Adam Baldwin in a sci fi series again and I think theres more smooth than rough with the series - and its just been renewed for a 4th season so must be doing something right plus they were at Comicon this year. I'm assuming theres no need to mention Firefly or Stargate? Which Battlestar? The new one which I could not get into no matter how hard I tried or the one and the only best and original Battlestar Galactica? Starbuck is so NOT a girl *spit* Sci Fi is my passion *whispers* I know someone on this forum who is meeting William Shatner on the bridge of the Enterprise in October and having their photo taken with him .....

If you don't mind something a little bit older and set in the UK I enjoyed Misfits for its characters.
