This is the recipe I stole I have just pulled this out of the steeping cupboard and to me it tastes like a dead ringer for Ginger Rogers

I've never tried ginger rogers but it seems to be popular. Sounds like a good thing?

Second Semi Final Cakey Custard (iLardyboy) Custardy Love Child (lairey) Cap Vanilla Custard/Glazed Doughnut (10%/10%) This was more difficult than the 1st semi final as I liked all 3 of these but after much tasting and deliberating the winner which goes through to the final is Custardly Love Child The interesting thing about that is that about 18 months ago Greigster very kindly sent me a sample of Custardly Love Child and it did not do anything for me so that shows that my tastes have changed over time. Tomorrows Final Perpetua's Vanilla Custard v Custardy Love Child Just for some background info goneforagasper . . . . CLC was actually a ' souped up ' version of my original PVC little recipe, created by Romelee - to which I added the Vanillin. Claire ( Lairey ) then put the recipe card together for us. Either way, as long as you have an enjoyable custardy vape for your tastes, that's all that matters.

Gotta say, the CLC and PVC have become my favs along with a Custard Caramel that I picked up from here, I've tried a few now but always go back to these favourites.

Thanks for that update Perpetua I looked at the recipes again after getting to the last 2 and realised that the ingredients were the same just bigger quantities in CLC, my original thoughts were to compromise and work out the average eg PVC = 20% VC CLC=25%VC so go with 22.5%. My second thoughts are to do both - I will decide tomorrow I am still tooting away at them both in rotation.

Absolutely goneforagasper the CLC is a more right in your face strong taste and the PVC is a little gentler I find. I do really love both of them and there is definitely enough of a difference for me.

I started out with Perps VC and went on to Claire`s CLC, these have been my all day vape for the last several years and for me, nothing has ever come close to them including Grants VC. Neil

The result of this cup final is a win for Perpetua’s Vanilla Custard A close second came Custardy Love Child I realise that one is just a stronger version of the other and PVC tastes better to my taste buds. I will however go forward with both. I started the thread for 2 reasons 1- To hopefully find a custard which suited me 2- To have a bit of fun Action Plan
Put whats left of PVC and CLC back in the steeping cupboard for another month Mix 200 mls PVC and 50 mls CLC to keep my options open Test in a months time when I will have some steeped for 2 months and some for 1 month. I am overwhelmed by the advice and tips which I have been given – I have got custard which I like and have learned so much Thank you all It could only happen on AAEC Peter
